Pacifica Senior Living Green Valley was the best value suited for my friend. She is in Transitional Memory Care. The activities they have included entertainment, field trips, daily movies, and sorts of things. With her, even some of the things that could be considered kind of rehab or therapy are included.

Everybody at Pacifica Senior Living Green Valley seemed very caring and happy to be there. Jackie was pleasant and very caring about her residents. The building was very homey and it seemed comfortable. The facilities were clean and pleasant. I felt welcomed.

Pacifica Senior Living Green Valley was beautiful. We talked to the director, the main guy, and he was very nice and very informative. It offers memory care residents a cottage where it seemed they would be alone, and so the price was probably the highest of all of them. The director was very friendly. The facility was very clean, very modern, and seemed to be very caring.

I toured Pacifica Senior Living Green Valley. It was more kind of like hubs, so structurally it was all on one floor, which was good for those tenants who have disabilities in moving, or less mobile tenants. They're broken up into like pods. What was nice is that each pod had eight to ten residents, and there's kind of community eating centers. They were eating lunch when I went there. Some pods weren't eating, and some pods were eating, so you can definitely see the different dynamics between the pods. Each pod has its own personality and culture, which is nice. I think there's less tendency for tenants to have to fit into one type of living space. It was very diverse, and so that was a strength. For those that are seeking that type of interaction with people, they could get that there. Structurally, it's an older building, so it looks less like a casino structure. I really like that about it. The staff were really great and really friendly. I had better interactions with the tenants there than I did at the other place. I feel like there's a broader spectrum of tenants. The kitchen looked clean. It wasn't dirty, or there wasn't dirt on the floor. The inside of the place was nice. The grounds were kept nice. The bushes and the lawn were cut and stuff like that.

Pacifica Senior Living Green Valley is an older establishment, but it was very nice, and everybody was extremely friendly there. The only difference with them compared to other places is that there are separate cottages. So, if you want to get to the dining room, you have to go outside to travel, and if you want to get to the other areas, you have to go outside. That's the only thing I didn't really like too much about it, because I don't want my dad to do that if the weather's bad or something, and he has to go from one side to the other. You won't be able to get to that side if it's pouring rain for example. What I like, and what I thought was really cute about this place, is that he can have his own little cottage. They only have up to nine to 12 rooms, so there wouldn't be a huge amount of people. I thought that was really cute. They've got their little dining room in their cottage. So they would go to eat their little breakfast in their area, and then if they wanted to go out to the bigger dining area or the activity center, that's in the middle of all the other cottages; they have to walk up to that area. The staff was friendly and it was clean. It's older, so you see a little bit of that attached to it, but as for staff and friendliness, that was great, and the food looked decent. They had different stuff and there's variety, although it wasn't as much as the other place I toured, and the quality probably was a little bit less, but it's still a very decent place.

We went to Pacifica Senior Living Green Valley. They are cottages. All rooms are studios, and there are no kitchenettes. There are 12 rooms to a cottage, so you have to leave your cottage to do any of the activities in the hall. I did not see any of those automatic door openers that you push. We had to go up steps to get into the main lobby for our appointment because some truck was parked in the handicapped lane, so mom decided pretty much within 30 minutes that she didn't want to see any more and that it wasn't for her. Each cottage has its own separate staff, so there's always somebody there. It's like its own apartment building with 12 apartments. There are only two rooms. There's one that they call Rose Hall that you have to go outside to get to, and the club room does everything. They bring exercise equipment in, and they have entertainment. Those two rooms were all of what they had for amenities. It was clean.

Locating a safe, clean and compassionate place for a loved one diagnosed with Dementia is never easy. A family member recently needed immediate placement in a memory care facility. We toured several places in the Henderson/Boulder City area and chose Pacifica Senior Living Green Valley. We are SO GLAD we did!!! The staff there is amazing - especially Sharon, she has gone above and beyond to ensure a smooth transition. From the moment we met her we knew this was the place we would choose. :-) She and Ann moved furniture into the room and decorated it to give it a familiar just like home feel. We live out of state so updates via email, text and phone calls are critical and Sharon has been awesome to communicate with us. Sharon you are a true GEM and Pacifica is lucky to have you there to advocate for their residents. The Chef even prepared a favorite meal for our loved one so she would feel at home on the first night! Pacifica is a Class Act and I would highly recommend!

I visited Pacifica Senior Living Green Valley and I think I'm gonna go with them. The other places were very helpful, but some of them I learned virtually weren't a fit because they couldn't keep my parents together, or the price was just kind of too high. There was another one that was really good, but Pacifica Senior Living Green Valley is a little bit better fit for my parents. Our overall experience was really good and they're very helpful. I like the openness of the cottages, and the rooms were nice and felt spacious. The location was good, and it just had a good feeling. It's open and bright, it looked good.

My mother resides at Pacifica Green Valley having moved from another state. The cottage arrangement has been incredible for her care and well being. My mother enjoys the daily activities and the numerous opportunities for socialization during meals, in the cottage living room, in Rose Hall, and with the daily interaction of care givers who know her routine and interests. As a family member, my husband and I love interacting with cottage residents and care givers. We feel like part of a family. It is so reassuring knowing that mother's care is genuine, friendly and at the same time professional. Everyone at Pacifica Green Valley is willing and ready to help if you have any question or concern. I am kept fully informed of my mother's care and needs. You truly feel that your loved one is being cared for by a special TEAM of staff at all levels from the management, activities staff, dining staff, care givers, medtechs, reception area staff, maintenance and housekeeping. So glad to be a part of the Pacifica Green Valley Family!!

This is a nice facility with several little cottages. I think maybe 12 rooms to a cottage. Tenants ate in the cottage not in a big dining room. Wasn't what we were looking for.

Pacifica Senior Living Green Valley appeared to be very nice. Rather than one building, they were spread out into several different cottages. To enter the place, you have to go through the main entrance, out the back door of the main entrance building, over to whichever cottage you would be in, and then into a second door to the common living area and then another door into the individual bedrooms. None of these doors were equipped with handicap access and that was a turn off. The place looked very nice and clean. The only drawback was there were just too many doors that don't automatically open. The person who toured us was very knowledgeable.

This is a beautiful property! I love the cottage layout. Each cottage has a very intimate and cozy home-like feel. The residents all seemed very happy. The caretakers were very welcoming and introduced themselves. I would comfortable moving my grandmother here. This is definitely one of my family's top choices.

Called Friday early afternoon to see if we could set up a tour and spoke to Melissa who conducts the tours. She said she could not see us on Friday since she was moving someone in. We inquired if we could come tomorrow around 1:30pm she said she would see us then. Arrived on Saturday to be told Melissa is off on Saturdays. We then inquired if anyone could give us a tour and were curtly told no. Ok. Thank you for inconveniencing us and showing us what attention to detail and care you would have provided. The kicker was as we were driving off they have a sign in front stating "Tour Today". Made our decision so easy. No thank you Pacifica Green Valley.

My mom has been in Pacifica for almost a week, and I'm very happy with them. They have a small setting of self-contained cottages with 12 units in each. They have their own living room, common room, and studio. It has a community/family atmosphere, where they eat all their meals together. The caregivers are absolutely wonderful and check on her all the time. They have a lot of activities that are keeping her involved.

Pacifica Senior Living was very nice. The nurses don’t handle more than six patients and don’t let the patients stay in bed all day long. There’s lot of activities that get the patients or residents involved. The staff and the people seemed to be very friendly. They had gardens and a place to walk. They had many buildings with one floor, which we liked. For people who don’t have a drinking problem, they have a happy hour. We liked everything that we saw and heard. It was nice and wasn’t ridiculously expensive.

Pacifica Senior Living Green Valley was very good. The rooms were good. You didn't have to bring furniture. The residents who were living there already were very standoffish. They weren't friendly to anybody. That was a turnoff for me. The food was very good. They had their own chef, and they had a varied menu, but the people in the dining room would look at you and turn away. They wouldn't even say hello, and I thought that was really strange. They had a hairdresser on-site, and that was good. They had nurses who would come around and check on you as needed. The staff wasn't very friendly, either. I believe the people there were getting that behavior from the staff. They just acted like they didn't want you there.

Pacifica Senior Living was fabulous and homey. The rooms were very nice, and the staff was awesome. The dining room was wonderful. The community was setup with little houses with 10 people living in each, with their own staffing and an outside garden where people could walk around.

When we first put my mother at Pacifica Green Valley, the place had a different name, and I loved the staff who were there before. When Pacifica bought them, I didn’t think the same care was there anymore. They were OK, but it wasn’t as good. The rooms were OK, adequate. I’d been there a couple of times, and the food was not bad. They had bingo, went shopping, and had people come and play the piano. Before, the employees seemed to really care, and they were very helpful. When Pacifica took over, the new place just didn’t seem as happy. I ended up getting my mom out of there. They did a lot of new construction, and the new kitchen was very nice, but my main concern was the staff. I just felt like the people weren’t happy, and the quality had gone down. I used to love it, so I give it five stars, but now, I can’t say.

We ended up choosing Pacifica Senior Living Green Valley for my father-in-law. The facility is clean, and it's not obvious that it is a senior living facility when you walk into the lobby. The administrative folks that we talked to were professional and upfront about their level of care and the various protocols that they would do instead of letting you know after. The care staff has been very active and seem to have a good hiring process in finding people that genuinely care. The price point is a little more expensive than the other options that we looked at, but at least we know that she is getting the care and not being overly medicated. It's nice that we can come and visit any time during the day or night. Overall, it's a very good place, but more activities, or at least a better individualized care plan, could actually be beneficial. In terms of managing his mental health and his Alzheimer's, it seems adequate.

We did put mom at Pacifica Senior Living for one week, and everything was great; they were very friendly and nice when we were there. I asked my mother how they were when we weren’t there, if there was any difference in how she was treated when we were there versus when we weren’t. and my mother said yeah there is a difference when the family is there versus when they are not. Overall, I think it was a really nice facility. The room was very comfortable and nice. We put our own showerhead in there -- one of those expanding showerheads -- but other than that everything was really good. They have puzzles in her living room area or dining area, they had games, they had a beauty salon there, and they had bingo. The dining area setup was really nice. Each large unit probably had 8 or 10 units, and each section had its own kitchen and dining area where they prepare their food. Most of the family is on that side of town, so that was pretty nice. Overall cleanliness was very good and well-maintained. The only thing I think my mother did not like or had a bad experience was the first time they were going to bathe her; they put cold water all of her, and I did notice that when they pressed their little assistance button to call on the attendant, they are slow to respond to get there, probably because they are limited with staff, and they may be busy in other units. And I think that would help if they would be a little quicker.

My dad is at Pacifica Senior Living, and everything is good. The place is immaculate. They just finished renovating a bunch of their cottages, and they are furnished beautifully. It is not an overly large place, but there are benches outside as a little feeding area. The staff is wonderful and very caring. He got very good care. They do a lot of nice activities for the seniors that are there. They do bingo, and people come in and do little concerts. It is nice; it really is. The food is not great, but not bad. They allow families to bring in food. They are very accommodating.

I went to the Cottages, but I wouldn't recommend that to anybody. I just wasn't impressed. When we went into a memory care unit, I felt like they weren't really looking after the people. There was one lady in the laundry facility and one in the kitchen area, and I thought to myself "Hmm what if somebody over here was falling down on the floor or something?" There was something there that didn't rub me right. It didn't seem very clean. I saw an activity board, but when we were there, they were not doing any activities when I thought they should have been in the middle of one. I didn't care for them at all. The rooms seemed very spacious, but most people were sharing rooms. I felt like the upkeep wasn't as thorough as some of the other places. I wouldn't place my parent there.

I chose the Cottages of Green Valley for my mother. The room is small, but it is adequate. She has a bay window, which adds a little more space. She has a little refrigerator in the room that she can use. It is a little more expensive, but it is worth it to her. She likes breakfast. The portion size is not what she is used to eating, but it is good enough, and they have snacks. They have outings, and they have a lot of events at the facility. She has some assistance, and so far so good. She likes it because it is more homey. They have gardens and the staff is very friendly.

My mother has been at Cottages for a month and a half now. The place is very clean and very nice. They have individual cottages. It's not like institution at all. It's more personable. What I like best is the way it's all set up. Everybody seems nice there. My mom has her own studio apartment and it's very nice. It's very beautiful. I have seen the food and it looks like it would be good. They have a lot of different outings in the city. They also have bingo, music, and all kinds of activities.

I liked The Cottages a lot. It's just I didn't like the room layout and the shared rooms were not as private. I felt that the administrator was very warm and very caring. I thought their attitude was very nice. They had a ton of activities. They had a pastry chef and he had made rugelach and they were absolutely amazing. I have a friend who has her mom there and she just loves it.
