My father stayed at Legacy Terrace Retirement Community. It was a beautiful facility. We had no complaints whatsoever. His room was small, but that was really all he needed. I had no complaints with the staff. They were fabulous, very caring, attentive, very patient, and very kind. The food was good. The dining area was beautiful. They had people come in that played music. They had a dog that they brought in for people to pet. They had travelogs, and they had exercise classes.

We have chosen Legacy Terrace Retirement Community for my mother. It's very clean and inviting. The apartment that she's moving into looks new and you can tell that they've painted it and have clean carpet in it. It looks very nice and very well kept. The staff is great. We talked to Jocelyn the first time we visited. She was wonderful and she took the time to answer all of our questions. She made sure that she thoroughly explained everything. Then we talked to Nate when we brought my mom with us, and he did a great job also. The dining area looks like a restaurant, it looks very nice. We didn't see any activities, but we saw the calendar that was very well-rounded.

My parents-in-law moved into Legacy Terrace Retirement Community. It was well-maintained and seemed to be more up-to-date as far as the interior and everything. The staff was excellent. The person that showed us the place started working there when he was young. I guess that's what was kind of impressive about the place. It's kind of hometown feel. The chefs have been there since they opened. They have an activity calendar every week. My parents-in-law have been actively doing some things, which is great. They do have a limited capacity, like for church services and some of the programs that they have outside that come in and do entertainment. They can only seat so many people, and it's like a hundred and seventy apartments, so there's quite a few in attendance. If they're independent living, they don't have to drive; it's just right there.

My mom moved to Legacy Terrace. It's really nice, upbeat, really friendly, and has activities for her to do. My mother seems happy with it. She said the food is great. She's really happy with it. They have a room for therapy with all different kinds of machines for them to use. They have entertainment that comes in on Friday nights. There are tours to go on. They take them shopping once a week. They've got a movie theater room. One thing we liked about it is when the money runs out, you can go into Medicaid right away (there's no waiting). You don't have to be there so many years to be able to apply for Medicaid.

Legacy Terrace is a first-class place. They have two separate dining areas: one for assisted living residents and one for retirees. We ate there, and it was quite good. The staff was very friendly, very competent, and helpful. They have a game room, have people come in to teach crafts, and have a beauty shop in the facility. They also arrange trips.
