My mom is in the skilled nursing part of Parklane Care Center. They have everything she needed, and they accept Medicaid. It's very dated and it needs to be updated. Right now, because of the COVID you go to visiting rooms, which are horrible compared to how nice the entryway is. The parking lot is a disaster. The food is great. Because of COVID, there are not many activities right now. There's only bingo. They need to improve on the cleanliness of the visiting areas and the appearance of the hallways.

Jeff was a resident there for almost 3 months and has to have 24 hour care. He was well taken cared of. He was happy there. The staff took very good care of him. They kept him clean, trimmed and fed well. They also kept me informed and gave me good suggestions when I was bringing him home. The place was clean just a little run down. But he wasn't there for the looks of the facility. The staff was so nice! I have recommended this place to 2 people and will recommend it to any and everyone.

When my mother first moved to Parklane, there was enough staff to care for her needs and the other residents. After one year, the care went drastically down. The place was taken over by new management and all the front office staff were let go. The old office staff was always out with and interacting with the residents. Only one of the newest office staff members is out and about with the residents. The others are not to be seen. A lot of workers were let go and those who stayed were definitely overworked!!! The place was clean, but needed more help. Mom passed away there. We were always told they loved her, but we have not heard one word from anyone who took care of her. Very sad for us. We feel that the "love" was a lie. Sorry, but that is how we feel. The place is old and needs a lot of work, but as I said it was kept clean. The furniture was falling apart. Nothing was being fixed or updated. Where did the money we paid go? We were told that she had zero money in her personal account; I disagreed with that and was told they would check into that. Never heard another word! After Mom passed, we received a letter that the state was refunded her personal account of over $1,000. How interesting. We had no choice to have Mom live at Parklane; she was on medicaid and we were unable to care for her. We could not get her into any other facility that accepted medicaid. It is a sorry place for one to ends one's life. So sorry Mom that you had to be there.

Need more staff, but overall the food is good and the place is clean. There are a lot of nice people that work there. My Aunt seems to be happy there, her only complaint is she wishes she could have visitors. But, she understands do to the virus.

My mom is at Parklane Care and Rehab. It's easier for her needs now. The staff is really good and caring, and we appreciate that. Everybody shares a room which has its own bathroom. The food is OK. They just need more staff. The place is very clean.
