My mother stayed at St. Louis Place. The place was clean, quiet, and peaceful. Her room was clean. The staff was nice and friendly to her. They had daily bingo games and other daily activities. They had a rec room that they went to for a movie day or movie night.

I'm at St. Louis Place. There's nothing that I don't really like about it. The staff are nice. The place is clean. They show concern for the clients. They provide the food, and the food is good. They have plenty of activities, like bingo, cards, and movies. They have a variety of activities.

I was at St Louis Place Health and Rehabilitation. It's a horrible place with the staff that doesn't know what they're doing. The general manager has no clue as to what to do with his job. I was supposed to have my medical records sent over in three days, and it took them over a month to find them. I had all kinds of trouble. It's the most horrible place. The food is horrible and all that. The staff are horrible. While I was there, I had crapped in the diaper that I had on, and it took them three hours to get to me. They're understaffed and doing all kinds of changes. The food is terrible. Everything was so full of sugar. There's sugar in all the food, and I'm diabetic, and I have to really watch that. I didn't pay anything; Social Security is supposed to take care of everything. They played bingo, but all the activities that they listed, they never did.

I’m highly frustrated and concerned. I called to speak to a family member and was yelled at, lied to, and greeted with rude, combative, and aggressiveness. I’m concerned for my family member that she will be mistreated further and we can’t get a hold of her. I have been holding for over 20 minutes refusing to give up on her. Please don’t send a love one here and get this place shut down it’s not safe !!!!!!!!

My mother transitioned to this facility 11/6/2020 after recovering from a stroke and seizures. They did not take good care of her and would not answer detailed questions about her care when she was there. She needed at least 3-4 months of therapy and rehab to recover. When we talked to our mother after 3 weeks there she informed us they havent been doing any therapy with her and would just leave her laying in a room most days. 7 days after this they all of the sudden released while she was nowhere ready to be sent home. After release we found that she had a urinary tract infection and was infected with Covid 19 virus while there. She suffered seizures immediately after being released and is now back in much worst shape that she was when she was first admitted to this facility. We cant get anyone to call us back or follow up on what happen while she was there or any straight answers on why she was released so early. As 1/10/20 she has been in a hosptial ICU fighting for her life because of the lack of treatment she recieved while there. Do not send a loved on to this place.

My aunt has been in the facility one night and one day. If it was possible I would have moved her today. Her room is filthy. The toilet doesn't flush. The water doesn't turn off in the sink. We were told the maintainer man is not avail on weekends and would be in on Mon @ 7am. We bought her a simple TV but no one new how that gets hooked up. Her med tech came in @ 11:30am with morning meds stating she couldn't figure out where she was( what room she is in) there was a Nov calendar on her wall and a sign on her wall stating room was not to be used- call maintenance for questions. She did not have suction catheter ordered and kept telling staff but we kept hearing they would have to call the doctor which was unlikely to happen. I felt sick leaving her there. Staff was polite just not able to help her.
