My mother was at Landsdowne Village for a few years at the end of her struggle with Alheimer's. The staff at Landsdowne took good care of her. The nursing staff were warm and kind and all seemed to genuinely like her. They were very good with her, even when she became difficult to handle. At the end, they worked with us to get her hospice and make her comfortable. My only negative point would be that it could be difficult to get a response when there was a problem (i.e., her bed needed repairing and it took a few phone calls to administration to get it attended to. Comments to staff didn't get action).

SAD SAD SAD, THEY HAVE RESIDENTS IN THEIR FACILITY THAT IS NOT ALLOWED TO HAVE A TV NOR A PHONE AS IF THEY ARE IN SOLITARY CONFINEMENT TO THE LOUSY ADMINISTRATORS AND DOCTORS HOW WOULD YOU LIKE IT IF YOUR PARENTS WAS IN A FACILITY THAT SUPPOSED TO MAKE THE LAST DAYS AS COMFORTABLE AS POSSIBLE INSTEAD YOU GET TREATED AS IF YOU ARE A CRIMINAL IN SOLITARY CONFINEMENT HOW CAN YOU CREATE A REASON NOT TO GIVE A ELDERLY PERSON SOMETHING AS SIMPLE AS A TV TO WATCH WHOEVER HAVE RESIDENCE IN THIS FACILITY DON'T ALLOW THOSE PEOPLE TO FEED YOU GARBAGE ON WHY THEY TREAT YOUR LOVED ONES THE WAY THEY DO I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND A PERSON TO TAKE THE DOG TO THIS PLACE THEN AGAIN THEY MIGHT TREAT THE DOG BETTER THAN THEY TREAT THE ELDERLY

some of the staff are rude! Not helpful at all! The Lady at the front desk was very nice and friendly. The place is falling apart. The response for help is not answered or it takes 30 mins to an hour for someone to come and see what you need. the attitudes are horrible. The service is terrible.

My mom was actually in Lansdowne Village. She was there for two to three months. I would give this facility A's across the board. The staff was friendly. They actually do make the people get out of bed and participate in activities. It is just a good place and a clean nursing home.

It seemed like a very nice facility. It was clean and the nurses and staff were friendly and helpful. However, there was a bit of trouble with payment. My grandmother did not have insurance approval to go here, instead she was paying privately. It seemed as if they were trying to push her to leave before she was ready to because they would earn more profit from a person being paid for by insurance. Other than that, the facility was very nice. The people working there were incredibly kind and helpful, and all of the other residents seemed quite happy to be there. It was a clean place with a lot of recreational activities available to the residents. All things considered, it was probably the best place around the city that my grandmother could have visited, and they did a great job taking care of her. I would go there myself if I needed to!

The staff was very cordial and informative. On the tour we took we were informed of their specialized Hospice unit that would take extra good care of our grandpa in his last days. I thought that was special that they made places and made them according to the needs of their customers.
