I'm in House At Westminster. The apartment is bigger than I thought. It's spacious. The residents are very friendly. The place is very clean and smells nice, especially inside the apartment. My apartment is brand new. All the plasters are new. They have grab bars and railings and things like that. I'm on the first floor. It has three floors, but they have two elevators, so that helps a lot. They have a kitchen where you can order your meals in the morning. They have meal plans, too. You can sign up for them or not, but they have kitchens in the apartments themselves. There's a community place where you can hold a private event if you want to for a fee. The grass is well-kept. Even though they only have one maintenance man, he does an excellent job. If he leaves, I don't know what's going to happen. He keeps the place clean. They have pest control that comes in four times a year or every three months to make sure they keep down the pest. In terms of security, you have to buzz in. They give you a common code before they sign you in and then an individual code for the door, so that people can come and go any time, day or night. The management is very difficult to get a hold of. Before I moved in, I left several messages to return my call wanting an update on my application and move-in and just to get paperwork, and there was very little effort to return my calls until like the final day that the paperwork was due. I think the management is money-oriented rather than resident-oriented, and I don't like that. Also, they don't have activities.
