My mother-in-law has moved into Green Park Senior Living Community. It's one of the places that the hospital chose because she needed rehab, and that was the best in the area as far as getting her what she needed. They provide three meals a day. Regarding the staff, as far as what I've encountered so far, they have been good. They have activities, but I don't know what it is that they do because she's only been there a few weeks. And she is unable to do much of anything right now. However, when we were there last Friday, my mother-in-law's floor looked like it hadn't been touched in days. I reported it to the nurse's station.

i visited my friend who is a resident there a few days ago and was shocked what she told me about this place. I though she was kidding about how bad the conditions were but she most certainly wasn't. It was bad enough entering the building with the strong urine smell but when i was walking to my friend's quarters observed a staff member yelling at a resident over not being allowed to get a cup of coffee. The halls were filthy and the smell actually was getting worse with a feces type odor. I was there at the time they served lunch and the served food try didn't match up with the ticket order that was on the try and according to my friend she said it's never correct and food is awful. I told her daughter what I saw and she thanked me for letting her know. Not a place I would like to spend my golden years in.

Observed that it took 0over 2 hrs for lunch to be provided for the residents. Seems like they should have adequate staff so the clients don't have to wait. Terrible. Many of the residents were agitated. But many were sleep and probably not concerned. But it bothered me to see this.

i was visiting my friend yesterday evening and as i was walking in the entire staff was walking outside to try and find a resident. i was talking to the friend i visited and she was telling me the state was there that afternoon and she had to call the state again that night over other things. maybe it is as bad as she says and based on what i seen with the way the place smells and the bickering amongst the residents and staff from what I've witnessed and can confirm to be true.

Terrible place for your loved one and you... nothing but disappointment and they use covid as a cover to be even more negligent.. don't go here if you dont have to.. rooms are 8n decent shape from what we could see through the window. Staff interaction isn't terrible, some people are better than others.

My husband was put in his nursing home after he had a motorcycle accident. He was unable to walk had a wound VAC on the side of his leg. I’ll get straight to the point one of the nurses that come in there advised me to call state on them he had had a pick line in his neck for over a week and a nap and changed the wound VAC on the side of his leg was not working which was just causing more severe infection so I called State and getting like six or seven write ups.Thankfully we ended up getting him out of there and into Mercy rehab had we not got him out of there or had he not had any family support there’s no doubt in my mind that he would not be here today I reported this to the higher up management they did nothing about it when they would put him on a bed pan when I was not there and he go to the bathroom I’d come later in the day there would be the same bed pan in the bathroom with stool in it still. One of the nurses stated to me that in order for him to sign a power of attorney I had to take him to a bank while he couldn’t even walk I said how am I gonna do that she said oh just you know use the wheelchair I said have you read his chart he clearly can’t even move at all which indicated to me they had not read his chart at all it was very crucial they should’ve been taking his temperature to see if any fever was coming back due to the infection they never took his temperature not one time I could honestly go on and on but I am just warning you my last review got taken down I beg you please do not take your loved ones to this nursing home do not take them there I have no clue how they are still open.

My sister-in-law is in Green Park nursing home. She is in the rehab part. So far, so good. The only contact I've had is when we go visit her through the window. I've talked to the staff and they all seemed friendly. My sister-in-law said some foods are good and some are bad. She has an account there where she can order food if she wants. I have talked to the social worker and her nurse to see how they're doing and they have been really friendly. My sister-in-law stopped Medicare and she is in the rehab part, so they pay for so much.

In the midst of the Corvid 19 pandemic we are still frequently faced with the sad question "What about Mom?" Or Dad. Or Aunt Amanda?" Or ourselves should we become incapacitated. Sometimes it feels as if we're at the mercy of strangers. I've been a resident of the Green Park facilities since February 2019. I came here from the hospital needing two people to lift me from the bed to standing and lower me into the wheelchair. I had severe neuropathy of the lower legs and my time in the hospital had taken my ability to stand let alone walk. In a little over two months the tough love therapists at Green Park's 360 Advance took me from a wheelchair to a walker to being able to get around well with a cane. Having lost my apartment during my hospitalization I elected to stay as a resident, meeting Medicare/Medicaid requirements and medical needs. Green Park met my two top requirements of safe and clean while also being conveniently located in South County, close to friends. In the time I've been here I've seen a lot of changed, chief of which being the current administration winnowing out the staff with lackadasical to bad attitudes and replacing them with people skills and people service mentality. The place had always been very clean and the pandemic brought a program of regularly disinfecting surfaces, hand rails and door handles. I grew up on the deep Southside and I know "scrubby Dutch" clean when I see it. (It should be Deutsche since there weren't any folks hailing from Holland.) But I digress. They have a program of regular Corvid testing for staff as well as residents and a carefully quarantined section for residents testing positive. For safety and social distancing hot meals are served in the resident's rooms. Those showing no symptoms after two weeks quarantine are worked into the Green Park Senior Living building. Administration has a hands on, open door policy as they strive for the level of caring and competent service you require for your loved one. Or yourself. I can without hesitation recommend Green Park Rehab/Therapy for recovery and Green Park Senior Living for those of us needing long term care.

They are poorly run. We had problems since the first day we put my father in there. They were told and acknowledged he was a medicare patient and never did the paper work and now claim they never knew he was. They have repeatedly tried to collect money for her even tho they were told medicare will pay them. They had to be told many times my father had advanced dementia and needed around the clock care. He had fallen several times. The last time was a severe head injury and they didn't even contact the family or take him to the hospital. He fell into a coma and died 3 days later. I most strongly urge you to look take your loved ones anywhere but here.

I am a family member of a resident we moved to a different facility. Green Park smells like a toilet bowl. The aides are lazy and should be called ghosts because you never see them. Residents are not attended to and left to sit in the own urine and feces for hours on end. Rooms are dirty. Complaints fall on deaf ears. Management says they are addressing all issues and nothing changes. If you use Green Park, you are placing your loved ones safety at risk. This facility has been documented(Post Dispatch, 2019) to be one of the worst in Missouri. And believe me, it is.

My Mother is now in this Nursing Facility. I find this Nursing Facility to be pleasant. The Staff, maintenance, nurses, laundry room attendants, rehab all are very courteous, helpful, friendly & communicative. They answer my questions when I have one, which sometimes is quite a bit. This is the second time that my Mother has been to this Nursing Facility. The first time was short term for hip replacement. This time is for long term. Her room is ver clean and she has an adorable roommate.

Patients on the nursing home side smell like urine and feces. They all say they need to call state. It’s really sad. I can’t believe anyone would want a loved one here. The new ED and DON don’t know anyone on the nursing home side- they didn’t even celebrate Halloween with them. Only the rehab. The residents do the same activities daily and very rarely are engaged. I could keep going on. Just happy my loved one is out of there now

I am a patient here. Was told that it was a rehab facility. This place is accepting more and more psych patients. Often verbal and physical outbursts to both patients and staff. Lack of aides most of the times. Night staff LOUD! Many times arrived at doctors appointments on the wrong day. I'm only here until I have surgery. Will leave as soon as possible.

Horrible the place smells, food is nothing to write about, rooms are dirty and have not seen a mop in probably years. Some RNs are very cordial to your face however they are mean to patients when they think you are out of site. The bathrooms are not wheelchair accessible, they don't change residents clothes or bed sheets. I am trying to find a different place. Social workers tell you they will look into the issues and don't. They have a nice set of rooms for people who are wealthier and the other set of rooms are plain out dirty and gross.

Looks can be discieving! The place looks but beware. My Mom is bed ridden and was only there for a week and got horrible bed sores from not be moved. And now she has a Sepsis infection, which is a life threatening infection of the blood stream, as a result of this. She was basically left by nurses there to rot because nursing home neglect. I regret my decision that I ever put her in there. A would put my dog there. This place is aweful!!! She will b discharged ASAP and coming home!!!

Terrible place. My loved one was always soaked in urine whenever we came to visit. The floor in his room was sticky with urine. The whole facility smelled like a toilet. If my family did not come twice a day to make sure he was cleaned and fed, he would have been neglected to death. Finally got him out.

Staff is rude and uncaring. My mother in law was not showered unless we asked. She was left at a dialysis center for more than 2 hours after treatment very late at night with no food or drink. Staff had no idea when she was to have returned. They refused to take responsibility. Rooms are dingy, patients left sitting in wheelchairs in odd places. Room wasn't cleaned and bedding not changed until we asked. Very poor care. St. Clare hospital recommended this facility without speaking to family. They are partially to blame.

The care in the rehab center was very substandard. Resident left here with bed sores, nurses were slow to respond and did not fully understand the scope of care needed by the resident. The house Dr. did not take patient concerns seriously resulting in several additional hospital admissions. Medications were not readily available. Therapy was disjointed at best. Scheduling was a nightmare. I would not recommend this facility for anyone that has more than one health issue as they are not equipped to accommodate needs. It is my feeling that resident's admission was driven by the almighty dollar. It is a shame when companies are willing to sacrifice resident well-being only to fill a bed or make a buck.

I was sent here after a major surgery and can tell you within a few hours I was on the phone with my doctor begging to get me out, which took 24 hrs to do. In that time, I never received any of my medications and most of the residents were put in wheelchairs and parked around the nurses station. The food was horrible, no taste and no help in getting other food or anything. The place smelled very bad. Most rooms had 3 to 5 people in them. At that time they had a Senior Living Center or ALF, which seemed much nicer. But they moved all of those residents out and converted that part to Rehab. RECENTLY - I was looking for a place for a relative who could no longer live by theirself. We visited Green Park and found the ALF was no longer there. My relative would have to share a room with another and would only be allowed a few pictures, a small TV and maybe a small table of own. Again, it smelled. My relative said 'no way' and we were out of there. Very disorganized, friendly to get you in, but that is all. Would NEVER recommend this place for anyone.

Only gave this place 1 star because I guess I had to give at least that in order for it to post. I would have left it blank and gave zero. VERY VERY poor care. My father's belongings were stolen, he fell, had a pressure ulcer on his bottom, and no one ever returns your phone calls when you leave messages. Don't even think about filing a complaint with the administrator because she won't call you. When you complain to her in person she doesn't even apologize or try to help you. Never send anyone you know to this place!!!

My father is in the rehab facility in Green Park. It is very clean facility. It doesn't smell like a nursing home. The environment overall seems to be fine. They have a caring staff and many activities for their residents. They play bingo. They have a really nice TV room. If there is anything that is negative with that facility is that on the weekends, they are short-staffed.

My dad is at Green Park and it is just 5 minutes away from my house. We can go everyday to see him if we want to. It's a nice facility and the staff takes care of him well. He's really close to them. He shares his room with someone else. The facility can improve on its cleanliness. It's hard with my dad having dementia; he's really messy and doesn't clean up after himself.

Green Park Senior Living Community got all levels of care. It was clean, its surroundings were adequate. She had a private room to herself when she was there, own bathroom and handicapped shower. Rehab was good. She went home within two weeks. So she progressed really well.

The staff was friendly and knew all of the patients by name. It was large, but separated into several buildings. It was clean and quiet and had a good environment. My Grandma was comfortable and had her own room.
