I looked at several different rooms at The Atrium of Belleville, and different floor plans. There was one that was a 2-bedroom apartment and the others were just 1-bedrooms, and I thought they were very nice. The only thing that I would say that concerned me at all, was the fact that I don't know how many people live there, but there's only one elevator and it's a small one. Like at mealtimes. when people were wanting to go from the second or third floor and were wanting to go down to the first floor, that might be kind of crowded. But that's minor. But it's very nice, I like it. If I were going to live there, I would probably want to be on the first floor, although that's a little more expensive. There's a big main area and they had people in different seating groups that were playing cards or doing things or just talking. And I was very favorably impressed.

My sister will be moving in later this week to The Atrium of Belleville. They're very nice, very helpful, and everyone is very friendly. The residents that we encountered, when we did our tour, were pleasant and had nice things to say, so I think it will be a good fit for her. The facilities are very nice. They're in the process of redoing some of the rooms and things. The actual Atrium itself, when you first come in, they're in the process of redoing the in between flooring. It looks like, to me, that they are trying to keep up, they make sure everything looks good. They're putting in new flooring, painting, and bathroom faucets. It has a step-in tub, which is what she really needs. Overall I was just very impressed with the professionalism. The residents themselves all seemed very friendly, and it seemed very well run. I have seen the room. It's in renovation right now, so it was kind of torn up a little bit because they're working on it, but it's a good-sized space, has a decent-sized bedroom, and has a sitting room before the bedroom. She basically has two rooms. The first room is what I would consider like a living room type of area, and then it had some bedroom and the bath; everything was very nice. I was very pleased with the people there. They went out of their way to be nice to my sister, answered any questions we had, and did a very good tour going through it, seeing things. They also allowed us to see one of the resident's actual rooms. They had them decorated, and that was nice to see. It's hard to envision whatever you say it's gonna be in a room when it's all torn up. I didn't find any fault to anything that I saw there, they seemed to be right on whatever. They offered a lot of services. I was just very pleased, they were all very pleasant. They seemed to know exactly what they should do. They immediately checked our temperature, and everything, to make sure we didn't have any problems when we went through, and that worked out really well. I'm most impressed with their security. There was somebody there immediately when she walked through that door. You're not allowed to be wandering around or whatever, there was somebody there right away. It was the safety issue that I really liked, that someone was watching out for them. I think that there were a lot of things going on as far as renovations. That may or may not cause a concern, but I found no fault with what they were doing. Everything looked really nice.

I visited the Atrium of Belleville. It was independent living, but they provided a lot more support services than others. The residents were not allowed to cook in their room with anything other than a microwave and refrigerator. They have speakers that come in and talk to the residents. They have a full-service dining area, they offer cleaning for the rooms, and the residents probably need more support in independent living. The staff is very nice, and it's an older facility, but it's very nice.

The staff is professional and very friendly. The menu in the restaurant is varied daily and the meals we ate, as guests, were top shelf. Excellent chef and serving staff. The apartment is adequate as long as you know you will be downsizing when you move into any senior living facility. As a resident you will be able to decorate your rooms as you see fit. As a resident you are offered numerous social activity opportunities in and outside of the Atrium. Boredom is the last thing you will experience.

I liked the location of The Atrium of Belleville and everything it had. The only thing missing was a swimming pool. The rooms were OK and had kitchens. I only saw a few residents, and they looked OK.

The Atrium of Belleville is very nice. It's very good. The staff is very comforting. The community has bingo, outings, and game nights. They have happy hour too. Residents could eat from 7:30 in the morning until 7 at night. I think The Atrium is a better fit for my parents.

Everything at The Atrium of Belleville looked excellent to me, and I approve of it totally. I thought the person who did the tour was excellent. The dining area was really nice. They have 1-bedrooms with a bath and a little kitchenette, and they have 2-bedrooms with a kitchenette, bath, and shower; they seem to be really nice.

I liked eveything at Atrium of Belleville from the friendly people to the the food to the laundry room, except for the price. They do their own laundry on a separate floor. The apartment was nice. They had so many amenities. They had an activity room, a beauty shop, a little store, and a day room where you can go in and use a computer, watch TV, or read books. The dining room was restaurant-style where they come to your table and take your order.

Very affordable independent or assisted living. My father has a fixed income and no Medicare. This facility is priced for an average income and offers assisted living amenities without the 'tier' structure. You only pay for the assistance you need. Three meals a day with restaurant-like dining room that includes menu and open seating 7:30am to 7:00pm. The staff are all friendly, helpful and genuinely interested in the safety and happiness of all residents.

The Atrium was very nice. It was all remodeled. It's very big; it's three levels high. You can hire and add more staff to the cost to make it assisted living, but basically it is independent living. The rooms are beautiful. The staff is very nice but persistent. The only place where we tried the food was at the Atrium. It was delicious; they have a chef. They have bingo, and they have trips. It's not far from downtown Belleville, but it's far away from my house. I have recommended them to friends.

Atrium is right close to my daughter's house. It's very spacious and designed well with a fountain and wishing well. I got a one-bedroom apartment. The facility itself is very clean and had just been remodeled.
