My mom moved into Cape Albeon Lakeside Retirement Living. I like that the staff gives her constant attention. They are very nice to her, and there seems to be a lot of staff available. I have watched my mother's meals, and they looked pretty good. They serve excellent meals. Her room is very, very nice. It's just what she needs and no more. They take some of the residents on trips, and I've seen musicians come in to entertain them. They also have movies.

I went to look at Cape Albeon Lakeside Retirement Living. I just didn't think it was friendly. The director didn't greet any of the residents when we were on the tour. When I asked about the activities, she could not even think of any off the top of her head. They didn't have the same friendly, open environment as the other facility. It seemed much more like a nursing home environment. The rooms were fine, nice, and up-to-date. They had a chapel. The facility was very well-maintained, clean, presentable and up-to-date.

We’ve already made a decision of where we are going, and the name is Cape Albeon; very attractive. It is probably middle to high-middle cost.

Cape Albeon is a beautiful little community with a great atmosphere. The outdoor grounds are just gorgeous. The cottages all have flowers planted, and is just lovely. There are lots of activities to do, and they even have an indoor pool. Awesome place!

We saw Cape Albeon. You can live in a cottage rather than in an apartment building. They had different rooms for activities and an exercise room. We liked the venue. They had two small lakes and the cottages that overlooked the lake, so it had a nice view.

Cape Albeon was my favorite. It was super organized and clean, and the elderly people stopped me in the hall and talked with me. Their cognition seemed to be better than the folks in other assisted living places. That was one of the better locations. The studio, one- and two-bedrooms were all very nice. The only complaint as far as my mother was concerned was it was so huge. It seemed like the walking distance to get to every place was long.

Cape Albeon has all of our needs, and it's a beautiful place. The staff was amazing, the grounds were beautiful, the rooms were large, bright, and clean, and the food was good. The dining room was lovely.

Cape Albeon was absolutely beautiful. It has everything that you could possibly want, except that it is private pay, and we are talking like $5,000 a month. Needless to say, my husband and I could not afford that, but if I was going to a place that I really wanted to go, it would definitely be Cape Albeon because of not only the food, but the atmosphere, and the people were really very happy there, and it was the best around. You could tell from the minute that you walked in that you were with wealthy people. Not only the facility, but the grounds and the furniture, just everything about the place, reeked of money. And, when we sat down to have our dinner, it was all chef-prepared. Everything about it was just absolutely fabulous.

Cape Albeon is a very nice place and they had three levels of care. It’s been lived in, but it has been remodelled. It sits in a couple of lakes, which are nice, so you can go fishing or hike around the lake. The staff was very nice and accommodating. They have trips to the store and doctors. They have a pool for aquatic activities.

Cape Albeon was a nice looking place. The surrounding was absolutely beautiful and neat. The staff was very charming, pleasant and smiley. The rooms were very adequate and very well done. They had a restaurant open the whole day for any kind of food you wanted. I ate some of the food and they were excellent. I would recommend it to others.

My mom was in their independent facility with my Dad. They lived there independently. She broke her hip and she was gone for about 8 months to live with my sister after the incident. It didn't work out so we had her placed back with Cape Albeon in their assisted living section. It's beautiful facility with a very home-like setting. My parents are from the east coast from Massachusetts and the facility got a theme like that. It's very comfortable for them and they just love it there specially my Dad. The staff were wonderful. They were kind, considerate and welcoming. They are always more than willing to help. Their room is just about 600 sq ft in size but it's very adorable. It has a little kitchen and a very nice bath. She has a full sized bed with a plenty of space around. She has a little couch in there, a chair and a TV. It has cabinets are they have beautiful carpeting. It's not that cheap living there, it's like $4200 per month.
