Everything is great at Saint Ann Assisted Living Residence except the food is not up to par. Living here is really good. The rooms are just bedrooms, but spacious. They have a dining room, a social worker, trips and bingo, a library and a physical therapist coming every day. The staff is great. It's very reasonable, too. There's a golf course right behind us and it's got a Dollar Store and places to eat within walking distance.

What I liked about St Ann Assisted Living Residence was it was small. It was kind of friendly. It was like its own little community. It was all just assisted living. It didn't have like a hospital smell. It was like apartments. The room that my brother would have lived in was good. He actually would have had his own room, so it was really, really nice, and spacious. They hold two oversized twin beds and there's a lot of room. I didn't taste the food, but they were cooking at the time. It was near lunch, and it was smelling really, really good. I didn't meet anybody else but Donna. It was really clean. I liked it.

The place is filthy and stinks. Nothing in the kitchen works right. The dishwasher is broken and has been, same with ice maker. Food warmers must not working because the food is cold. Really the food is bad. There's no activities! Staff is ok, the management I feel are not into it for the right reasons. I feel they make things hard on the staff. I rate this place a 1.5.

This residence gets a very good from me because it accepts low-income residents and does a good job with an older building that they've reorganized and renovated to the extent that budget allowed. My (relative) is low-income and wanted to live in St Ann. She's happy. She likes the staff. It's not able to provide top of the line amenities, concierge service, gourmet meals, etc, but it does a good job on a limited budget and, MOST importantly, is one of the few accepting truly low-income -- which is a serious need across the country! The current owners deserve appreciation for that.

I found St. Anne Assisted Living Residence for my brother. Its a small, privately-owned facility. Its an older place. They could do better on the activities, but the price is very reasonable for me.

The facility itself was relatively clean, although it seemed like it could have been cleaner. The whole building did not have a good odor. Although I do not have anything to compare it to, I just felt like my expectations were let down in terms of cleanliness. Some of the staff seemed friendly while others were much less so. We would either get a hello, a nod, or sometimes absolutely no reaction as we came in. It really varied from visit to visit. My grandmother said she was not really comfortable there. My family as a whole did not particularly like the facility, but it was fairly close to home so that was a major factor. We could never really be sure she was getting all the care she really needed, as we could not be with her every day. The facility was 50/50, you never knew what you were going to get.
