My friend moved into Fairmont Senior Living on Clayton. The facility is very clean and has a healing atmosphere. Her room is small but efficient. Everybody is caring and very attentive. They are quick to respond. The in-and-out process for visitation is very easy. They have lots of activities, and my friend is very engaged. They do field trips and go to concerts. They do arts and crafts, and they have speakers come in.

We had an in-person tour of Fairmont on Clayton. We like the personal care, the cleanliness, and the friendliness. The staff was very friendly and answered all our questions. The facility was very up-to-date and clean. They offered care that would help express the resident's brain a little more.

I've decided to keep my husband at Fairmont on Clayton. It is a lovely facility, and they are now remodeling and replacing the carpets with vinyl flooring. He's been there long enough now that I feel they're family. I can stick my head in the door of the executive director and she's got time to talk to me. I feel there's a good open-door policy for talking with the local administration. Everybody knows my husband's name. There's a nurse there. They've got contact with the doctor who comes in regularly one day a week, but he's on call if something comes up. He has always been there to assist in emergencies. There are maybe about 20 or 25 residents on their floor, but there are always at least 3 to 4 staff members there. I think they probably do as good a job as they can. They've been more than respectful of my wishes. The staff is always available when I need them. When incidents happen, they report them to me. I really can't ask any more than that. I'm satisfied with everything. Every afternoon, I see activities going on, like baking cookies and decorating. They're playing bingo. They do some finger painting. My husband has access to physical therapy and occupational therapy. I've eaten some of the meals and the food is always colorful, except for maybe a couple of instances. They serve you a soup, a salad, vegetables, protein, a starch, and then dessert. Everybody likes dessert. I would say the meals are good, and they're varied.

I toured Fairmont on Clayton. I very much appreciated the staff at the location, and the cleanliness. The staff was very attentive. They're a full-service location. They have a salon, a small exercise and rehabilitation room, a patio area, and a sunroom. They had two dining areas.

There was nothing that I didn't like about Fairmont on Clayton. Everyone that I was introduced to, I was pleased with. The staff were personable. The facility was clean and well-organized. It's a beautiful place. The day I went there, they were planning a heritage festival so I got to see the garden that residents take care of (but I didn't stay for the festival). They have physical therapists and exercise rooms, and my brother could benefit from all of the services they offer. I liked that the rooms were big and spacious. They have a twin bed in there and that would work perfectly for my brother. The showers are wheelchair-accessible. They have a call button so if you were in distress or whatever, you could push this button and get help. It was excellent. If I need to be in an assisted living facility, that would be my first choice. I met the director, Miss Teresa, and Mary was the one who gave us the tour. She was knowledgeable, personable, and was so pleasant. Then I met some other people and everybody was pleasant, too.

My godmother will be moving in. The place has excellent memory care. They have all kinds of activities. I just love it. The people there seem very caring. They have one worker who works with five residents. That means that they could be attentive to all five of those residents' needs. They're not overwhelmed, and the residents are not going to be neglected. The person who gave me the tour was excellent and very informative. He was very knowledgeable of the things that they do, and he didn't even work on that floor, but he gave the tour. He knows the whole place. He was the activity specialist. Then he took me up there, we toured the third floor. It's nice and clean. All the residents looked happy. They were active. They were busy doing stuff. In memory care, they were getting ready for lunch. Everyone was coming out of their rooms and sitting where they can go, get ready for lunch. The nurse was there, she was going around making personal contact with each and everyone and asked them how they felt and everything. It was nice, I love it. It was homey, comfortable, and very serene. The rooms were spacious and clean.

The lady who toured us was very friendly and very informative. I was inquiring about memory care, but she also showed me the assisted care. She showed us both types of rooms, the restaurant, and explained everything about them. She then gave us a cookie at the end. My other two sisters were with me and we all thought it was a great tour. The menu looked good. It had lots of choices that my sister would enjoy. They bake fresh cookies for them and residents can do the baking, too, with the help of the staff, so they have something to do, like a hobby during the day. They've also taken them out for sightseeing, or trips, they had activity areas, different television rooms, tables for games and puzzles, and lots of things that they could do if they chose to. The staff were very friendly, and it just looked like a very nice place, and I think my sister would be happy there.

I have been very impressed with the staff in every capacity. Everyone is friendly and they treat their clientele with great care.-and respect. Memory care is not an easy place to work, but staff is always cheerful and willing to help, no matter the issue. They do a great job of involving the clientele in activities. Just recently, the person I am POA for has been to the Muny, to a farm to pet rabbits and goats, involved in discussions, created paintings and encouraged to attend a variety of activities. I looked at many facilities before making a decision on this one. Sure glad I made the right one!

My mother has moved in. It's very nice. It's probably the nicest assisted living facility that I've seen. It's in an excellent location. The interior is very, very nice. The workers are very attentive and very cordial. My mom, so far, really likes it. When I did a tour, they showed me a few things on the floor that my mom is staying at, where they have activities, like game nights and movie nights. There are lots of social interaction on that floor, so it's very nice. I spoke with the chef and he actually provided the tour and he also provided some bakery goods that he had made for my mom and me to take home a week before we moved in and that tasted very good. I understand that he is a trained chef and that he's been hired for having outstanding meals.

It is really great. There are different types of rooms with different prices, but they're very nice-looking. They have a lovely dining room. You're allowed to have your own pet there. They even have a person that walks the dog.

I liked everything about it. It was clean. I didn't smell anything. They have a lot of things for them to do, and the rooms were nice -- even the smaller ones were. The person was very engaging and very informative; she was great. They have a beauty salon and a restaurant there.

It was a great place with nice people and little pets, which was nice. They had a house dog and a house cat. It seemed like a good facility. The dining area was nice. Everybody ate together, but they had to watch them. The lady who showed me around was very nice, and the person who greeted me at the desk was very welcoming.

The room was homey, and the location was convenient. The windows looked wider, and the view was good for Dad. They had different activities every week.

My mom moved in. It's a wonderful place and it's small. She's living in a beautiful room, a suite and she has excellent care. She's making friends, she loves it and she doesn't want to go back to her house.
