My parents moved into Park Place at WingHaven. It's very nice, they have cards, movie nights, swimming, and all kinds of activities. The apartment is very nice, large, and the layout is very good. The meals are very good. They had a card room, activity room with a bar area, swimming pool, they're supposed to put in a three-hole golf thing, and a salon.

We visited Park Place at WingHaven. It was very well maintained. The facility looked nice from what we can tell, from everything we've seen and from the lady that took us around. She was very open about everything. It's just monetarily, it wasn't in our price range. I would give it a good review as far as everything I have seen. The rooms were nice. They were big and spacious. It just ended up not being economical. It was a little too high for us, that was the only reason. Maybe if the price would have been a little more in line with what we are paying where my mom is right now. They didn't have studio apartments there, so you were looking at one-bedroom, actual apartments with or without kitchenettes. One of the things my mom wanted was, that she didn't want to cook anymore, especially just for herself. So, that ended up not being something we could afford because it ran higher for an actual apartment. The person who accommodated us was very good. Everything was nice, and we liked the place. We liked the atmosphere, and the ambiance was nice. They seemed very on top of everything. Although I was not able to spend much time in it, but just with at least walking through, it was very clean and very well-maintained.

We've toured Park Place at Winghaven and liked that place and we were very satisfied. Their food was delicious, it was excellent. The staff was was friendly, and informative, and they were open about everything there. Their rooms were a little larger than the other place I toured, and even their studios were larger. Everything was pretty comparable. We noticed a few residents working on a project in one room that we went by. Just like other places, they also had a beauty shop on site and other facilities, they're very competitive in terms of those services. Everything that we anticipated seeing was there.

We looked at Park Place at Winghaven and my friend liked it. They had coffee pots all over and cookies available. They had a lot of things that were going on there rather than just sitting around in wheelchairs doing nothing. My friend liked their balcony and the layout of the rooms. There's a kitchen you could eat in (it had a half wall between that and the living area) and a balcony to it. I think it costs around $3500 with a balcony a month compared to $7000 from the other place that we've visited. So, that's so much price difference. Park Place at Winghaven seemed to be the best bargain for your money. Todd was the gentleman that showed us around and he was very accommodating. We had lunch there and it was very good. My friend had shrimp scampi while I had chicken tenders. You could order what you want and I think they're open from about 6 to 10:00 at night. They've also got a swimming pool inside, a cocktail/ice cream hour at 4 o'clock, a bus that they use to go into a casino and a library with hundreds of books. I believe they were doing a lot of different active things.

My sister will be going to Park Place at WingHaven. I liked the idea that they had a lot of people there and a lot of activities for the people. They play cards and go for scenic drives. They all eat together in a room. They have exercises. The staff was very nice, very helpful, bubbly, and happy. The dining room was clean and looked like a regular restaurant. The facility was very pretty. They have a beauty salon, swimming pool, and spa. It was very homey.

My mom is at the independent living of Park Place at WingHaven. COVID has really messed things up for everybody. There's just a lack of activities in the place. They put out a movie, but they don't even have a schedule. Residents have to come in and tell the front desk person, "Can you put a movie on for us? We're supposed to have a movie." It seems like they close up shop on the weekends, so they don't do anything on those days. When she first moved in three years ago, they did a lot. They had picnics and all kinds of stuff. Now they're doing very little, and she's frankly just bored. I think that's kind of making her memory get worse because there's nothing for her to do. The staff is nice, but they're really lacking in staff everywhere over there. Everyone also complains about the food because it's very much lacking. When they had the COVID going on, they brought the meals to the room. They had a piece of bread, some meat, and a soupy kind of ice cream. It's a beautiful place though, and I love the courtyard. It's very inviting, and I think that's the prettiest part of the whole place. The main living room is pretty too, but the rooms are a little bit outdated. One year, another company took over and she just paid her $100 a month increase. Then she had to turn around and pay hundred $100 increase again, so I think it's priced a little bit high and it keeps going up.

Park Place at Winghaven was just beautiful and decorated very nicely. There's a big fireplace in the entryway and huge windows, which made it very welcoming. We went into a small room right off of the entrance, and it had a nice table, chairs, and a little couch. It was just really cozy. They have a beautiful courtyard that is just breathtaking, a gazebo, and tables outside where you can sit and enjoy the view. They have a swimming pool, a hot tub, exercise classes in the water, a game room, and a theater room. The person who gave us the tour was really, really informative. When I first went there for a tour, it was without my mom, and she asked a lot of questions about her, which I loved. She wasn't just trying to sell an apartment, but she wanted to know what my mom's needs were and what her likes and dislikes were. She really tried to get to know her. She used her first name, and she was just really personable. My mother is having a very difficult time giving her home up, and she's very understanding to my situation. She even called several times to check on how things were going. I told her my mom likes to read, and when we got to the library and certain areas, she stopped and said, "This is going to be an area that your mom's going to like." She remembered and listened to me when I was talking about my mom. We looked at a room that was a little bit on the smaller side than some of their other units, but it was on the first floor and it overlooked the beautiful koi pond and the waterfall. When you walk in the front door, you can make a complete circle around it. You can go into the kitchen, into the living room, into the bedroom, into the bathroom, and then end up back at the front door. Your guests don't have to go into your bedroom to use the restroom. They can go in right by the front door, and it will give my mom a little bit of privacy. Even though the area is small, it basically had a kitchen with a full-size stove, a full-size refrigerator, and a full-size dishwasher. Everything was clean and tidy, and the appliances practically look brand new. They serve food from seven in the morning to seven at night, and you could order anything that you wanted. My mom has a very sensitive digestive system, and they had a lot of bland things on the menu -- and a lot of her favorites were on there. They also have a happy hour Monday through Friday, where they have coffee, tea, punch, and sweets. There's an ice-cream bar that they could use on a daily basis as well. It was very nice. They had a private dining room that they're not using now due to COVID, but once things start opening back up we can reserve that room for family gatherings. They have a little kitchen area with a microwave and things like that. When my mom gets there on her move-in day, they have these people who will come to greet her, give her a gift, sit with her at dinner that night and just befriend her. I just think that's wonderful because my mom's on the shy side anyway. It's kind of their job, but they're outgoing individuals, and they love what they do.

Park Place at WingHaven was beautiful. Their rooms were amazing and huge. The hallways looked like small town porches with little gas lights on the end. The amenities were fabulous. They had an amazing list of activities to do outside of the home. The residents can bus and go to a ballgame, attend to concerts, or go out to stores and to restaurants. They also had a movie theater, all kinds of indoor activities, and they bring in singers and musicians. I was impressed that they offered a bunch of things for families to do. They had a family kitchen where they could come in and eat and make dinner with the resident and be able to use public space to hold large gatherings. The staff was very helpful. It was the nicest facility we saw.

We went to Park Place at WingHaven. It's very nice and we liked it. The room size was OK. The people were really friendly, and we liked the amenities. They have a gameroom, an area set up where people can get together and play cards, and they even have an exercise room and an indoor pool. The dining room was nice, and they have some areas where they can watch movies.

We visited Park Place at WingHaven. It's like a hotel with a grand lobby, and we had to take an elevator to the rooms. The staff was knowledgeable, the rooms were comparable, but it's not a place you could call home. We didn't see too much interaction with the people.

Park Place at WingHaven was a very nice place. It's on several levels, but they have elevators and the rooms are in the buildings. It's grand and it's very well decorated. The lady there was very good, very helpful with us, and called us regularly because she knew that we were going through a process with my mom and family. The staff was very nice. I had roast beef on bread with gravy and it was delicious. It's very modern, new looking, very clean, and beautiful. They have an activity list for the month. They have a van service and they are very active and take the residents places.

Park Place was newer, and the staff greeted us when we walked through the door. It had a very nice sense of luxury, but a homeliness that you felt very comfortable in. Everybody that we saw said hello, greeted us, seemed very happy, and were very excited because they had baby ducks in the courtyard. There was a friendly, warm, and happy atmosphere. It was very clean and upbeat, and you felt you're in a luxury hotel. They had a workout room, and a couple of people were using it. They had a swimming pool and a whole list of things to do. They had a shuttle that take you to places, and they were celebrating a special lunch for people with birthdays that month. The staff was very nice and friendly.

I liked Park Place at Winghaven a lot. It seemed very nice, comfortable, and personable, and I liked that it was a little smaller than some places. The dining area was sufficient for the number of people, and the food was delicious. It was convenient for me and seemed like a very caring place. We met a few of the people who were nice. They had a lot of activities and a pool; my mom is into swimming exercises, and I thought that would be perfect for her. They take a trip usually once a month. They had a kitchen downstairs where they had demonstrations of different things, and my mom likes to cook, so I thought that would be neat. Once a month, they come in and show them how to do something, and the residents get to do it themselves, too.

My overall impression of Park Place at Wing Haven was pretty good. The people seemed very friendly, and it seemed fairly clean. They had a memory care area, but it was a small area, so there weren’t as many patients. It seemed like a close-knit kind of a place.

I live in Park Place in O Fallon. It is very nice except for the food. Food is not good. They have lots of activities, but I don't usually do many of them. There's plenty to do though. The place is clean. The people are mostly wonderful. The theater room is over in the independent, but I live in assisted living here and it is a long way to go, so we don't go there often. I have a very nice 1-bedroom apartment. It is very nice and bright. The place is very beautiful and very lovely. If they have a different chef, it would be perfect.

I selected Park Place Senior Living at WingHaven for my mother. I just like the environment, and the caregivers are attentive and there for the right reason. The surroundings are very nice, and it's a nice property. My mom's room is a nice, large 1-bedroom with a little kitchenette, refrigerator, and a sink, and that's really all she needs because they serve her 3 meals a day, and there's lots of activities.

My husband and I go to visit Park Place every month for some activity. This way, we get to meet new people that live there, then the next time we go back, we meet somebody else new. We have met several couples. Everybody that we met have nothing but good things to say about the place. We look forward to moving in. We participate in exercise and art classes. We also went to a fall festival there. Everything is very warm, comforting, and you can tell that the people who work there are interested in what they are doing.

Park Place was very nice, and the people were very friendly. They had nice meals. The one thing I did not care about is that it didn't serve lunch. It was very bright, cheery, and clean. The people we talked to were very nice. They were ready for us to move in.

My husband and I loved Park Place, and when we are ready, we will be going there. The staff was absolutely wonderful. Everybody was friendly and gave me a lot of instructions, and they knew that we were going to wait for three years but said that they were going to keep calling, so we could go there when the time is right. The inside of the apartment was very detailed, and it was very nice and clean. We looked at the menu, they had a regular chef that fixes the food, and there were like five different entrees to pick from at night time. Their dining room was absolutely beautiful. You just sit down, and they bring you your food. They got a lot of different things that you can do as less as you want to do or as much as you want to. It was a great place. It was very beautiful, the people were very nice, and they try to help you in every way.
