My mom is a resident of Harvester Residential Care. I liked their community having multiple homes for the residents who just need assisted living. I like how they're expanding their main facility to include more memory care. I have seen one of the houses. They seem very comfortable having everything they need as well as having privacy when they need it, which was very important. The place is clean, and it was nice. The owner's son is who we interacted with. His name's Greg, and he was great. He seemed very knowledgeable and caring and seemed to be on top of things. My mother lives there, and she's happy with it. COVID kind of messed up their activities. Usually, they have a great program where they get the residents out like there is a calendar of events that they can pick or choose what they want to do. They can go out to lunch, go to a movie, go to a store, or go to a special event. They were great about that. Then there are also some little things that they have around the community itself that are like big outings. They have a house, I believe, that's dedicated to entertainment with a pool table in the basement, and different things where they can hang out at their leisure. It was wonderful. It's all good, but it's not quite a five-star, it's not perfect. I have nothing negative to say about them, they are kind people.

We didn't care for Harvester Residential Care. The price was the best. The price point was good, but it was lacking. It looked like the recreation was not very well attended to when they were having a game there. It seemed like the residents were out and about. They were all in their rooms. We just didn't care for it. The staff who assisted me was the assistant director. She wasn't expecting us, and the director wasn't there, so he was unable to show us anything. The tour was quick. It was just a run-through. The place looked like it had been recently remodeled and it looked clean.

The staff at Harvester Residential Care was super friendly and very informative. I didn't have any problems with them. The facility was nice and very welcoming. It looked like everybody was out and about and interacting very well.

I visited Harvester Residential Care. The place was very nice. It was clean. There were people to talk to and they gave me all kinds of information. It was an easy conversation. The staff is friendly and helpful. They did everything they could to show me what they had. They have a room with a treadmill and exercise equipment. It's open to anybody's use if it is available.

The grounds at Harvester Residential Care were clean and neat. The rooms I saw were new (they had just built an addition to the facility). The size of it was satisfactory. The person who did the tour was very helpful. They were preparing food in the kitchen, and we saw the dining area, and it was clean. They have daily activities. They also have a couple of outings in a week that I saw in the schedule.

Harvester Residential Care is in a residential housing area. The people were friendly and very informative. They were still doing some construction, but it looks like it's going to be very nice. They added some more rooms to the facility and did updates. They have a dining area, a gathering area with a big-screen television, and a patio for them to go out on. Some of the rooms have shared bathrooms, while others don't.

I toured Harvester Residential Care. It was good. It wasn't quite as new and nice as the other places, but they're doing some remodeling. They're working on the parking lot, and the staff told me they're getting ready to expand the facility. The rooms looked OK, but they're a little on the small side. Some have their own bathroom, some don't. She told me that all the rooms on one side of the hall had their own bathroom in the rooms. On the other side of the hall, they had shared bathrooms. The fellow who was supposed to meet me there by appointment was not there. But a very nice young lady gave me a tour of the facility and answered my questions. I saw that the dining area was very nice, large, and well-lit, with one full wall of windows to see out into the backyard. So, that was nice. I walked through a common area and three or four residents were watching a game show on TV.

We toured Harvester Residential Care and met with the owner. They have group facilities in small residential houses, and then the more assisted living type care in the main facility. They are under quite a bit of construction since they are expanding, and that was a good sign. The person who gave me the tour was very personable and very helpful, and gave us a lot of good information. There were a couple of people in the community room. They had a very large and lovely birdcage display when you walked in, with beautiful birds that looked very well kept. The staff was very nice.

Harvester Residential Care was a group home. It seemed that the price was kind of high and my brother doesn't need a lot of the services they offer. There are 3 guys in this particular house. They all have their own bedrooms. The rooms just have furniture and TVs. It's a regular house, so you can go outside. The tour was fine. They were very hospitable and kind. They were very professional, very friendly, and answered all my questions. They serve their food in Styrofoam packages at lunch and dinner, and they deliver them to the house. It's not a main dining room. They eat there in the house. The facility wasn't terrible but it wasn't great. Like any other home, it shows its wear and tear.

I'm on the waiting list for Harvester Residential Care and hopefully get my brother in there by the end of April, so that's the goal. It is fine. It's not the Taj Mahal, it's not a high-end expensive $5000 a month place, but certainly, it's got the qualities we were looking for. It was clean and they had the right number of services. It's a small facility, but that's what we were looking for. The tour went fine. It was personal. They showed all the facilities and they showed everything that we were interested in. The staff that showed us around were very attentive. It's a bit older facility, but it was very clean and kept well up. There are several activities. I can't remember all of them, but there are many activities that they offer. I like its size. It's a smaller facility. They showed us the dining area, they showed us some of the activities areas, and they showed us an exercise area.

Harvester Residential Care had all sorts of mixed residents there and we would not move my father-in-law there. The people that showed us around were nice, but the place was like a house reconstructed into an assisted living place and I just wasn't interested in that. The dining area had old furniture, and we did not see anyone dining in there.

Harvester Residential Care is close to where the family can all come and see my mom. It is also close to her home, so she can go home if she wants to. The second reason we chose it is because of money; it's pretty reasonable. I think Harvester Residential Care is a good place for my mom. They have a good reputation. All the residents seem happy, and every one of the staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. Today is her second day; however, my first impressions are very good. They have bowling, they take them shopping, they see movies, and they play cards. It really seems like they're trying to keep their people entertained and active. I met the activities director, and she was very energetic. Mom is sharing a room with another lady. The only thing I don't like about it is that there is no bathroom in the room. The bathroom is across the hall.

Harvester Residential Care didn't seem that well equipped for memory care. I was looking for a male, and it seemed to be more geared toward women. It was very homey. The staff member we met was very nice. The rooms were all shared and dark.

My mother is there at Harvester Residential and I love this place 100%, and so does mom. She has had a shared room with somebody else, very clean and well ventilated. These people go out of the way to make every resident happy. They go to places, shopping, bowling, WI-FI activities, bingo and church. They are so nice, everybody there is really nice. My mother has got a little fatter, so I guess she likes the food. They have doctors, a psychiatrist who comes in, and they deal with a lot of dementia patients. They have a hairdresser on Fridays, a doctor every Wednesday, they do lab work once a month on them, they’re totally up and it is very affordable too. They’ve got an outside area, you can go outside and they don’t really restrain their people. They know how to deal with them, I just love this place. They do have a bunch of houses that people can live in if they can do it. When I had flu and I could go there and my mother would be upset, they did make her day brighter because I couldn’t be there. They are really amazing.

They save semi-independent living with separate bedrooms in the houses. I haven't eaten there, but Mom is moderately happy with the food. I liked that it gave Mom the option of living in a house and having her own private room. The houses are within about 100 yards from the main facility, so the staff is always close by to check up on them. I would recommend this community.
