My grandmother moved into Maywood Terrace Living Center. It's a dementia facility, and it's a nice facility. The part of the facility where she is, you have to have a passcode to get in and out. The staff is very nice, concerned, friendly, and helpful. The food looked good. I've been there during some meals to help and assist my grandmother with eating. They have snacks, like pizza, donuts, and cupcakes for people's birthdays. I'm pleased. They have a large dining area, and part of it is for activities. They do things to make them happy and pleasant. I'd see that there's always someone giving attention to whatever needs to be done. I remember coming in on a Sunday, and they kind of had a devotional. Other than meal times, they watch TV, listen to music, and stuff like that. We're Medicaid pending.

My mother has been a resident of Maywood for over 2 years. My bother and I visit often and are happy with the way mom is being treated. Mom tells us she is treated good. I noticed the staff is dedicated professionals who do the best they can in a difficult job. The food service is dedicated to delivering restaurant quality with a variety of foods. They go the extra mile to make it taste better by seasonings and spices and caring if it is right. If a resident does not care for the food. They fix them something they are happy with. The management has always been good to us and listen to our wants and needs. They also helped me with professional advise on the way to make this all happen smoothly to the new changes in mom's life, like getting a Elder lawyer. Maywood does not have the fancy water fountains, chandeliers or scenic views, but they do have people who care, who are working hard to follow rules and regulations of the state. They are currently working on a remodeling the facility. New paint, new floors, are already done. We toured several facilities at the beginning and I feel I made the right decision for my mom.

The upper management is horrible. They never are around to hear any good or bad reviews from families. I figured it was because I was visiting at later hours but then when I went on a Wednesday at 10 am and no one was around still. I knew then I had to get my family member out of there. The nurses are absolutly amazing!!!! They do seem over worked and stressed but they have it handled no matter what. The CNA's were so kind and seem to care more about the people than anybody else in the whole facility. They work short more often than not. But yet, when they got to my family member they took splendid care of them.

My 91 year old great grandma lived here for several years. Absolutely superb care and well run facility. You can tell the staff treat the residents like family. I'm thankful to Maywood for the respect and dignity they showed my great grandmother until she passed.
My family member always came first the the nurse

Cna's were outstanding. Did above and beyond on my family who was a resident. I never really saw the "higher" staff so I can't put my input on that but the actual staff working and taking care of my family member were wonderful. It's hard to find nurses that care about the patients like they did. Only down fall was that every time I went in the facility there was only one nurse on the hall and never received helped from other staff members. I was a little worried on if my family member ever suffered from this but in the end the nurse ran around with her head cut off and always seemed to take care of my family member properly!

The people were helpful and respectful. It's pretty much a standard nursing home. The rooms and the dining room were satisfactory, which was more of a restaurant style setup. I was satisfied enough with Maywood Terrace that we were about to move my sister in there.

My grandmother was a resident at this facility and she recieved wonderful care. The staff is very caring and love the residents and treat them like family. The management goes above and beyond the call of duty for their residents and their employees. Excellent facility!
