I will be staying here at Eastland Court Senior Apartments. All utilities are paid, and we get basic cable and WiFi. I like that I have a washer and dryer in my apartment. There's no cafeteria here. It's not for people that need any kind of help. The place is very nice. The complex is only four years old, so it's a new development. We just have a manager and a maintenance man, and that's it. We have a fitness room, a beauty salon, a library, and a coffee shop. We have a family room where you can play games. We play bingo twice a week. We have card games every day if you want to play. We have potluck once a month. We have a visiting nurse come once a month. We have chair aerobics twice a week. We also have art classes twice a month, and that's a lot of fun.

I will be signing up for an apartment next week at Eastland Court Senior Apartments. It doesn't have the amenities that a lot of the others have, but it's more inexpensive. The manager was very friendly and very helpful. He showed me a couple of places and I decided on that. It's very nice. It's sort of minimal, but for the price, it's OK. It's a good fit. I chose a two-bedroom. It had a full huge kitchen and a walk-in shower, which I needed, and there was a deck. They have one bedroom and two bedrooms, too. They have a lunch once in a while. I saw something on their schedule, but there are no full-time meals. There's an exercise room, a library, and a game room. There are four floors and every floor has something on it.

I'm currently at Eastland Court Senior Apartments. It's relatively new. It's only about three years old. It's very well kept. It has excellent maintenance and good management staff. They're very friendly people. It's centrally located. There's a lot of good things about it, but the apartments are small. I need more room. They don't have meals, but they have a coffee shop. It's not included and is an extra charge. They also have community dinners once a week, but that's also an extra charge. Food is so-so. It's not gourmet by any means, but it's OK. The staff is very friendly and very helpful. Another reason why I'm looking around is because it's becoming price prohibitive. They've raised the rent every year. Being on Social Security, I can't keep affording rent increases every year that are higher than my Social Security increase. We have a lot of activities. We have exercise classes. We have regular card games, and there are other games going on in the community room. There's a well-stocked library, a workout gym, and all kinds of regular opportunities for socializing. There are so many things about it that are good, but there are so many things that need improvement to. The biggest thing is there's only one elevator in this building for 125 apartments. It creates quite a wait for the elevator. I really think a building that size needs more than one elevator.

I'm going to move into Eastland Court Senior Apartments. The facility was very nice, and they had a lot of things I was looking for. The manager was great. The room I'm going to get is a two-bedroom and the closets are really nice. There was a nice pantry. You can get an indoor or outdoor storage or a garage. They don't serve you food, but everything is free. All the utilities, cable, and internet all come with it, and that was another big selling point. They have some activities, they have an activity room, and they have a pool table that they can use. One of the big things for me was that out the back window is the trail. I can walk my bicycle or myself right to the trail. The Little Blue Trace trail is right behind it and I use that a lot.
