Crestview Senior Living was a very nice facility, extremely clean and fresh-looking, both interior and exterior. They had a lot of activities like bingo, bridge, chair volleyball, and chair exercises. The St. Louis County Library comes every two or three weeks. They have a piano bar, and they have church services. I like the layout of the dining room, but I did not taste the food. The laundry facilities were very nice. The rooms were spacious. They also have weekly trips to local restaurants and local grocery stores. The atmosphere was very nice. It was a very clean facility, both exterior and interior. I heard people laughing and several people in small group conversations. They have a nice sunroom area where there are tons of windows and bright light coming in. People were sitting in there doing puzzles and reading books. It was just very nice.

My mom was a resident at Crestview Senior Living for 12 years. It is an excellent place. They can offer you any assistance as to a private nursing service that has an office there on the grounds. They have rides to places. They go to the baseball game downtown, and they go to shows and museums. They do crafts, they have games, and they have a handbell choir that she was in. They have parties that include people in the community, and family members come in for the sing-alongs. It's quite an active senior community.

I lived in Crestview Senior Living's independent living for about 8 months. I left because my needs were different, and I felt I could save more money if I wasn't living in a senior community. It was fine though. When you add in the differences of what happened during the pandemic, it makes it difficult to judge them. I think it's because they were under different constraints, but they were pleasant and very good to us residents. The food has varied over time, depending on the people that they had working for them. In the beginning, it was very good; but I would say when I left, it was average. We had a lot of great activities, and some very lovely people. I made some good friends there, and I have no problem with it. My apartment was lovely. I had a lovely balcony. There was a lot of storage, and it was safe. I liked the apartment very much. It was a small 1-bedroom, but it was great. That was not a problem at all. The amenities were very good. There were lots of activities, until the pandemic came. They were doing a lot of trips and outings for the residents and taking everyone to doctor's appointments. Some of that had to change though once the restrictions with the pandemic came about, but it was a good facility. The only thing that I didn't like was there was no place you could really go walking outside or anything like that, which I would have liked.

I can’t say enough kind things about this facility and the women who run it. My mother is 93 years old and has been at Crestview retirement home for over two years now. She was at another retirement facility that had all levels of care on site. I had always thought this to be a benefit. Really, as it turns out – that seems to be a conflict of interest as that facility stands to benefit by thousands each month as they happily graduate the elderly to the next level of care. Crestview however, does not have on-site skilled, assisted or nursing home care. These people regard this wonderful home as the individuals home and they want them to be able to stay in their home and remain as independent as possible. On site there is a home health agency not affiliated with Crestview as is a therapy company. When your loved one needs more help it is conveniently there for them. Furthermore, her reasonable monthly fee includes three meals a day, more if she would choose. The wonderful dining room will serve her all day long. The activities department is wonderful too- they plan so many wonderful activities and outings for the residents to look forward to and to have purpose. The housekeeping & maintenance departments keep the place looking brand new. Every worker here has been so very friendly and accommodating. The group of people that are Crestview- are so very professional, kind and patient -I would name them all but fear I would leave someone out. I shall name the director Pat Beisel as one of the most dedicated, professional and lovely people you’ll ever meet. I’ve been a nurse over 30 years. I have learned a few things about caring for people. This place is wonderful and I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a home away from home for their self or a loved one.

From the first time I visited Crestview Senior Living, I knew this was the place for my mom. It has a homey feel to it, and was just the right size. We put her name on the waiting list right away, and received many calls for available apartments. The staff was patient and understanding as we waited for mom to agree to make the move.

I have attended several events at Crestview. The atmosphere and the staff are very welcoming. It is a facility that I would considered if I ever decide to give up being a home owner.

Crestview Senior Living is very pretty, but it struck me as something a little fancier than what we were looking for, and my mother wasn't looking for something with 3 meals a day. The dining room was very pretty and fancy.

Crestview was very nice, but the unit did not have a washer and dryer or a full-kitchen. They were very approachable and were very willing to have me come and visit several times. They just could not have been nicer.

I loved Crestview, but it was too expensive. It was very clean and very nice, and the people were nice. It was just out of our price range. I had a friend or a friend who lived there 5 or 6 years before she died. She was in her 90’s, but they took care of everything and she loved it, and that’s why I called them up. They were a nice place.

I like several things about Crestview Senior Living. It is only a mile from my house, provides transportation for the elderly, and has very nice apartments and dining room area. They will go and build them a raised garden if they want a raised garden. It just seems very friendly and very nice. They have religious services on the premises. My parents only need a one-bedroom place. The kitchen area is nicely designed, and the living room areas and bedroom are big. I like that they all have walk-in showers. They have a button that they wear in case of emergency. At Crestview, every room either has a balcony or patio, and I like that because it gives them the chance to be outside if they want to sit outside.

The staff at Crestview Senior Living was very welcoming, clean, and very attractive. We had a lovely visit, and my mother enjoyed it very much. The apartments were lovely and filled with light. The dining room was very appealing. They had a nice mix of available activities without pushing activities on the residents.

Crest View Senior Living was very nice and clean. Everybody was very friendly, and the people were very nice. I would want to live there. The gentleman that showed us around was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. The rooms were of decent size and every room either had a balcony or a patio. It’s a new building and modern.

We really liked Crestview, and we liked the people and the environment. The staff were more approachable. The location just wasn’t as convenient, and it had a higher community fee, so it would cost more per month.

We visited Crestwood. It was an excellent location to me. They had good food and nice rooms; however, it was a little more costly.

My mother moved to Crestview 16 months ago. She settled in within 2 months and loves it.The staff, facilities, food neighbors, and activities are wonderful. Some people still drive and you can BRING YOUR PET!! I compared over 10 placesand this seemed the best value with a great program. They offer free transport for doctor or drugstore errands,a friday happy hour, sunday mystery bus tour, cardinal group games, live music groups and a large daily activity calendar. The newer building with fireplace in the lounge area, piano in the dining room, library, computer lab, exercisr room, beauty parlor and beautiful outside garden area makes it all possible. Even a happy hour room with large TV.There also is a 3rd party nursing office for extra care. The apartments are very clean with weekly maid service. All for about 2600 per month and up. Wish mom had moved there 5 years ago.

Crestview Senior Living is affordable luxury with exceptional amenities. How blessed my 102 yr.old Mother is! As a resident of Crestview, she is totally rejuvenated. How she loves her dining experiences and interaction with dining room staff who impact her life! Choosing from a delectable menu of entrees, desserts, and drinks, she relishes the opportunity to select her meals. Being greeted by name makes her proud to be recognized as a community member. Appreciative of social activities including Mass, movies, live musical entertainment, and Happy Hours reminds her of songs sung and dances danced. Her room is bright with sunlight allowing her to look forward to a day filled with love and concern for others. She has a positive outlook each day which means another day of happiness, love, and blessings for a 102 year old resident of Crestview Senior Living.

My dad moved in at Crestview Senior Living a couple of weeks ago. The facility is nice, and we are happy with it. My dad seems to like the food, and that is important, but I think they can improve it more certainly. I like the menu choices. They do have activities, and my dad plays cards.

My husband and I visited Crestview to check it out for my parents. We thought the community was great. It is the right size, not super small but also not extremely large. The various apartments that we looked at all seemed to be nice sizes. After our visit I did take my parents to Crestview for lunch. It was wonderful. The staff at Crestview are always ready to answer any questions that you may have.

Crestview Senior Living was very nice and very clean. Their residents were happy there. They all have nice things to say about this community. The dining room was very nice, very clean, and very large. Their rooms were very nice and bigger, but the starting small room was too high for what I wanted to pay for my mother. They have a lot of activities available from a room to put in puzzles, to exercise, to activities, etc. All the places I looked all had the same activities available.

Crestview Senior Living was okay; however, it was not in my top 3 picks. Firstly, it was not in the part of town where I think will work best for my parents. Also they don't have the same kind of activities and options that other facilities offer. However, the price was comparable and the staff was outstanding. If they could be more flexible in terms of the level of care that they offer, that would be good.

My mom is a current resident of Crestview Senior Living. We chose this facility for the price, the amenities and its proximity to my home. For a facility, it is not too much upscale but everyone there is really nice. The residents and staff are both friendly. They have several different size apartments. We decided on a studio apartment on the ground floor for my mother and it was a very good deal. It is of pretty good size that fits about half of my mother's furniture that she was going to use. It also has a sliding door and a patio. With regards to activities, they have musical group that comes in there. They also have some dancing and live band. They have field trips where they go out. If you want to see ball games, they'll take you down there but you have to buy your own ticket. She has been there for two and a half weeks. She is still in the depression stage about leaving her other house of 63 years. However, she is more active now. Before she was only in her chair watching TV 24/7, but now she actually has to get up and walk down the hall to go get dinner. Just for the time that she has been there, her walking has improved immensely. She is no longer hanging on to me or hanging on to the wall when walking down the aisle and that's a big improvement.
