Mom moved to Kare Med Assisted Living. It is small and homelike, because it's actually a house, so I like that. They have very few people and they seem very caring. They serve three meals a day and they also assist with feeding. Most of them are in hospice. I felt like Mom has excellent care. We actually had my ex-husband there right before he passed away. They dine at a kitchen table. They only have five residents at the time and they have to hand feed Mom. She very rarely feeds herself. The residents change so quickly. When I first called to get Mom in they did not have availability, and before she was out of her rehab they called and said they had an opening. Kare Med Assisted Living is your average home. La-Z-boy's in the living room with a TV. It's decorated nicely. They've got antique furniture in several places, and my mother loved antiques. I think it's a good value for the money.

The only star is for the staff. The contracted agreement was that we would be reimbursed for unused days. After several promises to receive the reimbursement, I still haven't received payment of $3,300. After filing a complaint with the BBB, she ignored their communications. I do not recommend Kare Med's facilities.

Outstanding Care! My brother was a resident in this home for the past year (20-21). Management and staff have been great, always displaying the patients, understanding and kindness needed. My brother was a Vietnam era Marine who came home 100% disabled at age 19. His mental and physical challenges only worsened with age, passing at almost 70 years old. This home provided care for my brother in a very professional manner at a time in my brothers life when he needed someone to understand his issues and go the “Extra Mile” as this home did. The family of this Marine are Greatly appreciative for the respectful care provided!

Mom has gone through a lot of trauma in her life, but when I moved her into Kare Med Assisted Living, I have never seen her so happy in eight years. She laughs, jokes, and watches TV with other ladies. They have a little tea parties and talk about their family. It is absolutely wonderful. It's a four-bedroom house and they house four patients. There is a person there 24 hours and a nurse comes in every Wednesday. They have certain people coming on certain days and it's just wonderful. There's a lot of one on one for the residents. They just pay so much attention to the residents. They serve them breakfast between 7:30 to 8, but if my mom if my wants to sleep that’s okay. They will fix her breakfast a little bit later. They also fix lunch and dinner. The staff are absolute angels.
