I toured SummerHouse Bay Cove. I liked the openness. There's a lot of places to eat. I liked the places to go sit outside. I never did try the food, but there's a lot of choices, so I really liked that. It was very clean. It's topnotch. All the staff I met seemed like they're very easygoing and very nice. It has a lot of stuff. It looks like they have someone come in and workout with them in the rehab. I hear they've got some nurses, too, and a lot of places to play games and hang out. I've just been to two other ones, and this has been the best so far. The price compared with what they've got is the best, too, so far.

SummerHouse Bay Cove is a wonderful place. I would have loved to have been able to get my mother-in-law in there. The apartments seemed very nice. The staff is all friendly. They have good meal options and good activities. It's in a good location. The negative is just the cost. The facility is very clean.

I went to SummerHouse Bay Cove. It's three or four stories tall. The people were more active than my father would be, and at 93, he couldn't do a lot with the other people there. They had more activities, but they were a little bit too much for him. The rooms were very spacious. Some had balconies and that was awesome. The staff was very knowledgeable.

We went to SummerHouse Bay Cove. They showed us all the different types of units. It was a nice community. We probably would have gone there if they had taken me because I can still take care of my husband, but I need help once in a while if he falls because I can't pick up dead weight. So that was the downfall of that. It seemed clean. Everybody that we came in contact with who lived there raved about the place. They just raved about it. The food looked good. They had several choices. The prices were good.

SummerHouse Bay Cove was the smallest one we visited and the quietest one. It wasn't really what we were after, but we got a nice tour. The people that live there were wonderful and friendly, but it was very small and very quiet and my mother needs stimulation. She wants to be busy. The staff was wonderful. We got to talk to a lot of the staff. We met about five, and they were able to talk one-on-one with my mom. It's just not what she needs, so we did not follow up with that. She needs lots of events going on around her. There was nothing wrong with it.

We had an in-person tour of SummerHouse Bay Cove. It seemed like they were caring from the minute you walked in the door. The gal behind the desk greeted us for the tour, and she was awesome. Even the residents waved and said hi as we walked in the door. So it felt like they were happy and happy to see us. The gal we did the tour with was amazing and very kind. She asked a lot of questions before we went on the tour to make sure that the things that we were looking for my mom were covered. She did an excellent job and followed up with me since I was there. We even found a room that my mom liked, and she's trying to hold that for us until we can at least talk to the lawyer. I thought the one-bedroom was beautiful. The bathrooms are nice and large. They have safety features throughout the room with pull cords if they have an emergency. They have balconies that look out over one of the bays of the Gulf of Mexico. They have walking areas outside, encouraging the residents to get out and take walks, which are very safe. The facility was clean, bright, and well-kept. It was not a new facility, but they seemed to be taking really good care of it.

It was wonderful. It was a very nice facility, and the guy who toured us, Mark, was very, very nice, and very knowledgeable. The facility was very clean and just had all their things together. Everything was just nice. They had a little bistro area where they were having a Taco Tuesday lunch when I went there, the scenery outside, and the size of the rooms were all nice. They have a lot of activities as well for the residents to do. So generally, the whole facility stood out the most to me.

My mom is in here. She moved in a couple of weeks ago. They are a very caring and friendly staff. It's a really nice facility. She has a bedroom, a living room, and a little kitchenette. Her bathroom is big, and it has everything she needs. It is wide enough that she can get her chair in there, and they can shower her there. She also has a balcony. I sampled some of their food, and it is good. I got to eat with her. They played Pokeno, bingo, and auctions. They bring so many tickets for what they played for. They have trivia, happy hour, and people come in and sing. Normally they would have like a Mother's Day brunch and stuff like that, but because of Covid they haven't.

Finding the right place for my parents was one of the hardest things to do. They did not want to leave their home of 55 years but it was time. We chose Bay Cove because of the excellent reviews and after touring there we knew right away it was going to be their new home. The activities are endless and age appropriate from going to the movies, shopping trips, parties, happy hour with live entertainment and family events. My parents wished they made the move years earlier! Bay Cove in our opinion is the BEST on the coast. Thank you to the wonderful staff, they truly make a difference.

If I had a choice this would be the place for my dad. It was closer to my house. The place was very clean and residents had access to food 24 hours a day. However, he decided to stay where he is.
