Wesley Meadows in Hernando was very nice, but it seemed a bit crowded to me. The facility seemed a bit dated, but the room layout was good. They have a nurse on staff who handles the medication, and they have someone who comes in and stands in the bathroom while the residents are showering to make sure that they're OK. They had handicap showers. The cleanliness and upkeep were average. The staff was lovely. I could smell antiseptic in the hallways, which my mother thought was fine, but I wasn't comfortable with it. Obviously with COVID, I couldn't taste the food, but I'd rate the menu at about a four.

Wesley Meadows is great. The place is not as modern, and it has been there a long time. The eating facility is like going to a restaurant where you order off from a menu. We were there during the meal and everything looked delicious. The apartments were not as nice. They're older. However, they have remodeled quite a few apartments. They were freshly painted and everything was clean. We were there while they were cleaning some of the apartments and the staff members were nice. The folks living there were very cordial and had no problem with us looking through their apartment. It was a good experience. They have a wonderful exercise area. The people seem to be very nice and very informative. We're on the waiting list. As soon as they have an availability, then we'll make the move.

Wesley Meadows was alright; the staff was nice, and it’s very clean. I think it was $1800 a month. The description for studio for me would be large room, but I guess it was alright; I just didn’t care for it. They also had a large dining hall. The apartments were small, and the hallways were kind of dark. Some of the people I met that lived there liked it, and they are really friendly.

Wesley Meadows was OK. It was a smaller community, had less activities than I would like, smaller apartments than what we would like, and it didn't seem like they took a great interest in us. I think their marketing person needs to be more professional and more enthusiastic.

I love Wesley Meadows; they were 100% helpful. The food was great, and their dining room setup was wonderful. For assisted living, the staff has to take their food to them. They do have bingo, cards, music, people come in, exercises, and outings. Everything was well taken care of, and it's a very secured place.
