I have moved into Bren Road Station. Thus far, I'm liking the spacious apartment. The maintenance is top-notch here. There are lots of storage space. I'm finding that it is very accessible to anyone who is struggling with mobility issues. When I moved into my apartment, there was no need for me to clean. When I first looked at the apartment, I could tell it needed cleaning, and we discussed it. During the time that I signed the lease, and from the time I moved in, I could tell that it had been cleaned in between that time, and it was cleaned well. So, it was ready for me, it was turnkey ready. I could move in without doing any kind of cleaning whatsoever. There's a salon and a fitness center. There is a theater, a club room, and an outdoor grilling area. There's underground parking. Unfortunately, there's no pool or hot tub. As far as the staff, they're very responsive. If you have needs, they attend to them immediately. They're very organized and very professional. I come from a rural area, so I guess this is an urban jungle and there's an awful lot of pavements. Being more of a rural gal, I miss the trees and the grass. It's an average apartment building. I feel like they could be very much more active in organizing events for the residents to bring people together.

Bren Road Station was excellent. They had in-apartment laundry, they also had a deck or a balcony. The staff was very well-equipped, and they had all the answers. Immediately when we got there, they showed us around. I can't say anything against them. They were excellent. There were not as many activities as in the other place. They had a card room and an exercise room.

Snow removal is the worst i have ever seen there is a ramp to the parking lot that hasn’t been cleared for over 2months when I called to complain i was told that i was basically a liar she said she took a tour and it was cleared that is a lie. If you are considering this place to spend your retirement in a peaceful atmosphere well I hope you like screaming kids running in the hallways and rent increases are not affordable. One good thing is the apartments are spacious and beautiful

We toured Bren Road Station. We liked the location of it, the newer facilities, the larger apartments, and all the things that it had to offer. They have a party/community room, a movie room, a gym, an outdoor patio with seating and grilling available, and a walking path. The upkeep and cleanliness was perfect.

We chose Bren Road Station for my sister because of the cost. It was kind of a chaotic environment though, and they need to improve on communication. The facility was very new and appealing. They have all the amenities except a pool. It's a good location for me.

Bren Road Station was brand new, and it's very spacious. It's a big place. There's lots of communal places where you can be. There's a section to use computers and libraries. There's big rooms. There was a group of older women who were meeting (I think they were having a book club), and there's just lots of places where you could meet and use the amenities. The apartments were gorgeous. They're huge for the money you pay. They have income levels, but you sure get a lot for your money. It isn't what I would call low income housing because it's so beautiful. They're owned and managed by Dominium, who is working with builders to create more efficient and low cost housing. There's all these luxury apartments going up, and they are just determined to offer beautiful places for less rent. I applaud them for that. The lady who took me around was great. They're just a wonderful place.

I went to Bren Road Station. The person that gave me the tour was very knowledgeable. They didn't have a one-bedroom apartment, which is what I'm looking for. She was knowledgeable about the place. It was very nice and well kept. She showed me a two-bedroom apartment because they didn't have a one-bedroom apartment available to show, but she showed me how it would look if it was just a one-bedroom, and it's very spacious and livable, so I liked it. The apartment was the standard apartment with the marble aisle. The living room was spacious, the balcony was nice, and the view from it was nice. They had a theater and a lot of walking trails for doggies, too. If you have a dog, you can take your dog and walk there. It was very clean. I did get to see their weight room, you can use equipment and they had all kinds of classes, wellness classes type of things. I was impressed with how clean it was. The staff was friendly. I didn't see a speck of dirt anywhere. The glass was polished, and I felt safe in the building because you have to know someone to get into the building or press the office staff to open it up for you. I felt very secure there. There's plenty of parking, underground and also above ground. It's very well kept. The price was very reasonable, too.

I went to Bren Road Station on a Saturday, probably in early January. I guess they still are having an open house sort of thing every Thursday and Saturday. I went on a Saturday because it just worked out better. No one was available at that moment to give me the tour. She was already doing some other tours, so I did a self-tour of a limited area. It's an independent living and I could see that it looked fine. Several computers would be available for the residents to use. They had a dining room and a TV lounge area. Further down the hall would be the individual rooms. I figured I was not supposed to go down there, so I didn't. I did talk with several of the employees there and they seemed quite friendly, quite helpful at answering questions. One, I don't remember her name now, was very open about everything. The prices are within reason, or I should say, they're a lot better than many other places. For a 1-bedroom, it's $1100 something per month, and I've seen other places up around $3000 to $4000 per month. I can't afford to throw that much money away. I think they have an onsite restaurant and it sounds like they have decent meals there too. It is within the city of Minnetonka, just barely because it's very close to this borderline with Hopkins. Nothing wrong with Hopkins, although I'm going to say Minnetonka is a much nicer community than Hopkins. I should add that this place is about maybe 2 miles directly west of where I grew up from age 12 to 26 or something and it's within the school district I was going to at that time so it sort of felt like home for me in a way. The facility itself was fine with a typical layout. They had a central area, like a lobby area where you can come in and then a couple of wings going to the rooms, the center dining room, and the lounge. I forget how many stories tall it is, 3 floors maybe, and there's an elevator service. The building is brand new. The first residents moved in just a little less than one year ago, and there are several rooms there which have never been occupied so you could say it's sort of brand new.

We visited Bren Road Station. But my ex-husband needs 24-hour care, and they did not offer that. The place was very nice, it's beautiful, and it's brand new. It would have been wonderful, except he needs assistance transferring, and that wasn't something that was offered there. The staff who assisted us during the tour was very nice and she was professional. In terms of amenities, they could play things like cards. But we're very impressed and I would recommend it to somebody looking healthier than he is.

I went to look at Bren Road Station, and I liked the apartment itself. I liked the high ceilings and the openness, and also the other amenities that they had. They have a movie room, and they also have a game room and computers you can use. Overall, I've been very happy with the place. The person who gave me the tour was very informative, and she was willing to take me to different apartments because I looked at a two-bedroom and a three-bedroom. Any questions I had, she answered, and I was very happy with her. It's all 55+ and they don't have dining in that place. No food, and no activities because it's just a regular apartment for active seniors. It's a beautiful place, it's brand new, and it's only like five months old. The surroundings are very nice, very updated, and they have a nice, beautiful patio where you could cook out there. Overall, I was very impressed, that's why I chose it.
