My mom moved into The Pillars of Mankato Senior Living. The facility is all new, so it's all in beautiful shape. The staff members were really friendly. They get to know everybody's name right away, including caregivers. They've been excellent to deal with so far. I've looked at their menu, and it looked like it's good meals. I know that they've got a book club, gatherings on Sunday to watch Vikings, and outings almost every day for the residents. They bring in musical acts on Thursday afternoon. So there's a whole variety of things that they've got. She has a nice room. She's got a bedroom, a living room, a kitchen, own bath, and laundry facilities are in there. It seems expensive, but they're probably in line with everybody else in Mankato. So far, I'm very pleased with them.

The tour we had with The Pillars of Mankato was very good. The apartments weren't that bad. They were just expensive, that's why my mom didn't like it. We only met with the sales director. The facility was clean, and it's a newer place, so everything looked really nice. They had activities, a bus for transportation, and a place to put their laundry in their rooms.
