My aunt was a resident of Old Main Village. It's breathtaking. It's an old college facility, three floors. They have all their amenities and wide corridors. Their halls are wide because they never change that, and they remodeled into apartments. It has all the little things, the little post office, a beauty shop, and a barbershop. I do believe it has a pool. They get exercise areas and their dining is to die for. I've eaten three times in their dining room, and they treat you like a king and queen when you eat there at night. They even take you places in town and everything. I never intermingled with a lot of the staff. I probably did it in the dining room, because when I went there, I always ate supper with my aunt. They have live entertainment there. It's beautiful.

Food was not good for the residents. It was lots of wraps and food that was not healthy for older people. The care was not what it should have been. My mom had fallen and non of the family was notified. My mom passed away recently, Sepsis. When we told the facility that our mom passed, their first comment was "you know you have to give a 30 day notice?" We did, paid in full for the 30 days and we had a few items left in apartment, 2 weeks before we had to have it cleaned out, and someone had been in the apartment, door left unlocked and did painting. We were never reimbursed for what we had paid. I would not recommend this facility to anyone, they only care about how their building looks. In summer it was always hot in the rooms and in winter there were times when the heat was not working and it got very cold. Very over priced for their services. Always had different cooks, and helpers. Not enough help for the amount of people there. Helpers seemed to not stay long. I regret ever having to have my mom go to that place.

I like Old Main Village. It is really clean. The rooms are nice. They have a swimming pool and a library. You get breakfast and dinner with your rent. The staff person that showed us around was fabulous. He was good. He gave me lots of pointers and places to check out, all that kind of stuff. They have an outdoor area with a gazebo and it's nice. I'm impressed.

We toured Old Main Village for ourselves. The dining facilities were just beautiful. The building itself was really neat too. It used to be the State Teachers College that has been converted, and they've done a nice job at it. My wife was super impressed with the therapy people. They had some outdoor spaces and lots of little lounges. They didn't have laundry equipment in the apartment, but they had laundry facilities on each floor. Almost every room is different. I think they got something like 50 different floor plans just because of the nature of the building, which was kind of cool. One of the things that we thought was good about this facility was that you can start as independent living and then as things change, you can upgrade to assisted living in the same apartment. The kitchen is much smaller with a small range and a small refrigerator. They have meal plans, so they don't need the big kitchens in the apartments. The staff was really helpful.

We toured Old Main Village. It was beautiful. I would move in. It was fantastic. It's an older building. It used to be our college here in town, which they made into assisted living now. It is very well kept up, very nicely arranged, and very beautiful. It's a nice place. We were very impressed. The person that gave us the tour was excellent. The dining area looked very nice. It looked like a nice restaurant. The staff was very helpful, knowledgeable, friendly, and personable.

I went to Old Main Village. It was great, the services they offered and the information they offered. My dad was having mobility issues and needed PT and OT, which they offer on-site. They have elevators to help with getting around, and the dining hall was spectacular. It was more like a restaurant serving, and then they get individual attention. They have concerts, poker nights, a movie theater, and a bunch of different activities. And they specify the activities to the residents like some residents used to play pool, so they have a pool room. They have a recreational room, and if family visits they could go be with them. They have a church, they have a bunch of different things for everyone. Everyone is great and it was very clean.

I toured Old Main Village. The girl that took me on the tour was very, very nice. The facility is very clean. It's gorgeous inside, but it's just so big inside. They have a breakfast nook for continental breakfast, and the dining room is for dinner and supper only. But it would take me forever to figure out where everything is in there. It's a very nice facility. The people there were very nice. They have refrigerators and stoves in their apartments. The place is too huge. I can see why they've got empty rooms because it would be overwhelming for an elderly person to try and figure out how to get around. It was clean, but it was so big that it was overwhelming. They got activities where they do aerobics and they've got a big pool where you can do water aerobics or just go swimming. They have exercises. The only thing I like better about Old Main Village is they have a swimming pool, and I'd love to do water aerobics.

I went to look at Old Main Village. I thought the place was too big for my mom. There was only one meal a day that seemed very formal, so that wasn't for my mom. In the apartment, she would not have been able to go into the kitchen with her walker. The staff was very informative. She was good. The rooms were beautiful with large windows and lots of sunlight. I thought the size was very good.

I visited Old Main Village. It was a great experience. The tour guide brought us to three different options of apartments. We toured the living areas, the open spaces, the pool area, and the dining room. The executive director was very open to doing some of the legwork on the research that we needed to have done, so I won't have to do it. The dining area was restaurant quality with a five-star chef. They had crafts, bingo, a pool, and a hot tub. There's a deck that overlooks the river valley and then there's a courtyard in the middle of the building that has a gazebo (which is covered). It looked very clean and very well taken care of. The staff was very passionate about what she was doing. She was a recent college graduate, and happy to have a job of taking care of people.

My wife and I already went down to Old Main Village and toured the place. It looked nice, but I think it's too big and too confusing for my friend. The only person that we talked to was the manager and he took us to the office and pretty much explained that the nurse had gone down to visit my friend and that she would visit next week because we had to wait for his feeding tube to get out. He took us on a tour of the place, showed us about three possibilities of rooms that he could have. The most ideal one for him would have been the smallest room because of his eyesight. It was clean, nice, and beautiful inside. I thought it was great, although, with his abilities, it might be a little bit too much for him. He has some memory problems and with all of that, it might be too confusing for him, but not for most people. The manager pretty much explained that there was a menu, and they could pick what they wanted off the menu. He was fine and was a nice guy. The facility was beautiful, and it was great.

Old Main Village was a very nice facility, but my mom felt it was too big and overwhelming to her. She loved the room, though. The staff was very nice, very knowledgeable, and personable. She followed up with me; she was good. The rooms were really nice. It's an old building, and I love the architecture. If it were me, I would probably go there, but it's not me. It was very clean and updated. It's an old building, and the room has a huge window in it. Everything was nice and clean. We didn't see very many people, and my mom didn't like that there weren't very many people out and about. They were still doing a lot more COVID restrictions than a lot of the other facilities that we visited. They were still serving people in their rooms, which I found odd. It didn't fit my mom's needs.

I liked Old Main Village. I visited it before but they didn't have the type of room I wanted available. It's a huge building. Their dining area is gorgeous, plus they have small kitchens in the rooms, depending on the rooms; they have 76 rooms that are all different sizes: studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom. They had a swimming pool, and they're across the street from a seniors' community. You can go over there and do just about anything you want. It's great.
