Water's Edge were offering to help me get back there. I lived there before. Most of the staff are OK. I'm not sure which room I'm gonna get. I didn't go further. I used to live there, but I don't know what room I'm gonna get. I'm just gonna move there. I just need to get out of this place where I am now. It's OK, I guess. You get your own room, your shower, bathroom, and TV. They have activity people, they play bingo, card games, board games, they do activities, and cards crafts. They've got three floors, got an elevator, and it's nice. I would try to find something else first. It's an OK location. It's got a pond in the back, which is nice. It's really not close to any stores or anything.

Water's Edge was nice. They have smaller studio-sized apartments. It's a smaller community, which is nice. They have friendly staff. They have a common eating area. It was well-maintained, and well-kept. I didn't see any activities. They were starting their lunch hour. I wasn't able to tour the full facility, but from what I saw, it was well and nice but not perfect. I didn't see an exercise area, although the outdoor view was very, very lovely.

I went to Water's Edge. The staff was wonderful. I liked the facility a lot. It was small, homey, and clean. They had three levels, and there were only 11 beds on each floor. The only time you go into a locked-down memory care unit is if you're a wanderer. They had a spa, doctors come in, they were able to do lab work, and they have several outings in the community. It is a family-oriented facility.

The staff at Water's Edge seems to be just extremely caring. My husband's room is very clean, he has a nice big and bright window that looks out on a large pond and kind of a wildlife area. The food is quite good, it's well prepared and planned out, the hot food is hot and the cold food is cold. They have good meals there. They don't really have an activities schedule as such. Sometimes they play bingo which is about twice a week, but that's it. There are only a few activities, but there could be more.

Right now, I am in Water's Edge and it is brand new. To be honest, I am the first elder to move in. It is one of the smaller units where you are more of a family than you are a number. They are still working on the floor right above us. The staff is awesome. They work so hard to help me come in here because I don't have relatives in this particular area. The whole experience here is very unique and the girls here are very wonderful. It is nice to have people in our own age group who you can relate to, and we are getting to know each other. The rooms are big and they look over a pond. The other part here overlooks the grassy area near the pond. We can see big wild turkey and baby geese. My son says that when he goes home from work and when he comes by here, there are always deer in this park area and there are always birds out here, so it is really fun.
