I lived in Long Lake Assisted Living for 5 whole years, but I was evicted because I was outspoken, and I disobeyed a lot of the rules like running in the halls. It’s extremely clean. There was a cleaning lady pluswho works her butt to get the place with no cobwebs, no spiders crawling anywhere. Bathrooms are clean. The place is cleaned by one woman as far as I know. I had a lot of trouble with the woman who ran the place. She was the director, the nurse, the person who admitted you, and the person who evicted you. She was the only woman who did the entire process. They have bingo. They don’t have outdoor activities, but they do have a community bus that takes you to lots of interesting places. However, if you piss off the lady who runs the place, she’ll keep you home for a month, and if she doesn’t like your language, she will keep you off a community bus to go to Wal-Mart or Target. Each week, we go to one or the other, and if she doesn’t like your behavior the past week, you can’t get on the bus to go shopping for treats like clothing or Christmas presents.
