My Mom has been a resident of Thrive Assisted Living II for several years, and we have been very happy. The staff is knowledgeable, kind and compassionate. The owner of Thrive created this model of care to help meet the needs of the residents and their families based on her years of experience. It has not only helped our Mom, but also helped my siblings and I understand how to best communicate with her and understand the progression of her Alzheimer’s. The owner is very responsive and communicative. I never worry about the care my mom receives or that I don’t know what is happening with her. There are general daily activities and some that are more specific to the interest and abilities of the residents. The home itself is very safe, comfortable, clean, and nicely decorated. There is a nice, fenced back-yard for visits in the warm weather, and it also provides a peaceful and entertaining view from inside with birds and squirrels in the yard. The residents and the staff are a lovely community and we always feel good visiting. It has been a true blessing to find this kind of care for our Mom.

The home like atmosphere and excellent, caring staff at Thrive made it the best choice for my Mom! Lots of attention and love, good meals, and a friendly atmosphere were perfect for Mom. I was always made to feel welcome when I visited, and kept in touch with the staff via phone calls and texts as needed. So happy to have been able to call Thrive my Mom's home!!

My mother received excellent loving care while she was at Thrive. She suffered from Alzheimer's Disease and, while she originally had a room to herself, she was much happier (less lonely) once she shared a room with another resident. The rooms were very clean and bright and had very beautiful views in a residential setting. The staff welcomed my visits with my mother and kept my sister and I up to date as to her situation. The staff did activities to stimulate my mother's memory - including puzzles and finishing a phase. The home had six women as residents during most of the time in which my mother was a resident. The women had their meals together and socialized around the dining room table and in the living room. They spent most of the daytime together, generally using the bedrooms only for naps and bedtime.
