The Young Home for the Elderly was very small. On the front, it just looked like a home that's been there for quite some time, but when you drive in and see all the work they've done, it's lovely. Everybody has their own room. They have huge little areas where you can meet groups, like if your family was there to celebrate a birthday or something. No one is confined anywhere to their room. They've got a beautiful backyard. They show movies for their residents. It's lovely. There's a small number of residents. The staff was wonderful. The idea that they still could maintain their own room, decorate it the way they wanted it, and you can bring anything in that fit in the room, was all perfectly OK. There were areas for families to get together or just to leave the room and kind of be away from everybody. It's very, very nice.

The Young Home for the Elderly was a nice and clean place. Robert was cool. He knew all about the home and was just knowledgeable. They showed me a shared room, but he's looking for something of his own. So, it just wasn't the place for my father.

The Young Home for the Elderly was pretty good and pretty decent. The people there were caring with who was there, but because my sister wasn't walking much and had a problem with incontinence, it was more than they thought they could handle with the staff that they had. They didn't have enough staff to handle the 20 patients. They said if she gets a little bit better, she can come here, but at that moment, no. They're very truthful with me. It's an OK, cheaper place. The staff was really good to me.

I visited Young Home, and it was a very nice facility. It was a group home, and they only have 20 people. I think it had a really wonderful environment. The rooms were very clean and they had excellent staff. It had a one-on-one care and the level of care is incredible. Even for the price it was excellent. However, my dad didn't like it because they couldn't have a television in their room. They could only have it in the sitting area and he didn't like that. I know they do want to keep them out of the room and stuff like that, but that was one of the reasons he didn't like it.
