We toured Genesis Senior Living. I liked the fact that the staff was thinking of my aunt, and that home on Renshaw was all female patients, and they were more my aunt's capability level. Like when we walked in, they all said hello to us, they were having like a movie afternoon because it was cold out and nobody could really go outside. So, I liked that, that they interacted with them and they let them pick a movie and had a movie day. The house is under renovation, so there was a dumpster in the driveway, because they were redoing one portion of the home. It was older. The room was nice, and the setup was nice. The home was older, so it wasn't as nice as the other facility, but it was nice. They said in the summertime, when it's nice, sometimes they'll cook out and sit on the deck and go out in the yard and that type of thing. The dining area was nice. They had like a six-person dining room table in the kitchen, so it was nice. It was open, and it had wide doorways.

I went to Genesis, which I like very much. I was going to choose them but they didn't have the space. I was impressed with them. There was a lady there that showed me around and she was the wife of one of the owners. I like them, too, they're likable people. The facility was clean, there was no smell, and it was good. It was a ranch-style house, but it was not quite as large as the other facility. The facilities were good, and they had had roll-in showers, too.
