I visited this facility

I went to The Willows Assisted Living. The staff was very helpful and willing to give information and go beyond if they didn't know to gather it. The facility seemed to be very resident friendly. I didn't get a chance to visit the rooms. We addressed that for a later time, being that the person that did the touring of it wasn't available at the moment, but I was able to get a rundown of what took place in the facility. I was able to observe an outdoor activity. There was an indoor activity facil...

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My husband was in The Willows Assisted Living in St. Joseph. They were very caring and very helpful. It was clean, and everybody was wonderful. He was in their memory care. The food was excellent. The staff was just very helpful. It is a wonderful place to put your loved one in.

They failed to protect my Father. It was very stressful on the family. We ended up pulling him out as soon as we could. This place is all talk and no action. I recommend you look into other means for your loved ones.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My step mother moved into the Willows Assisted Living for approximately a month now, so as far as we’re concerned, everything’s been good, but step mom is in an adjustment period. She’s in assisted living, and she had to have help, because she walks through the walker. The atmosphere is very warm, very welcoming, and everybody is friendly. The rooms are very nice, spacious, and we put in a queen-size bed, an apartment-size couch, swivel chair, and a new TV in her room. It’s pretty accommodating....

I am a friend or relative of resident

Our Mom stayed at the Willows for 6 years until God said it was time for her to come home. The Willows really made us kids feel comfortable about putting Mom in assisted living. We were very happy with her care there. She was well loved there and was the Domino Queen!

I am a friend or relative of a resident

My mother was a resident of the memory care unit at The Willows for nearly two years until her death. The care was excellent! I could not have asked for more caring people to take care of my Mom. They are an assisted living home, and when Mom's health declined so that she needed nursing care, hospice was brought in to help manage her care. Both The Willows and Hospice at Home took excellent care of Mom. I can recommend it highly.

They took forever to do anything for her. When I got up to see for see would be in a old soiled diaper that need to be change hours eariler. She told me she had to wait hours to get anything to drink or eat. She beg me to take her out of their. It tooked me about three weeks to save up the money with help from her insurance she was able to come home with a home nurse. She looked so much...
