The rooms are private and well furnished. The staff are always friendly. I don't have any chores. I spend each day with my house mates and my computer. There are TVs in every room. They are big and flat screen. Four meals a day are comforting. When I first came here I was depressed and wanted to die. Now I am happy and want to stay here forever. There are 3 retired teachers here including me. If you or one of your friends or relatives need assistive living please check out Nathans Place.

We chose Nathan's Place for my father. It's called adult foster care assisted living. They had six rooms, and some rooms were bigger than others. The people there were very happy. A husband and wife couple runs the place. Meals were included, and they can transport for activities as well. The dining room had a big table with seating, and they had the kitchen around.

My mom has hospice coming to Nathan's Place because she needs 24/7 care. The owner is an LPN who often does a shift there so I feel like my mom is getting very good nursing care that I wouldn't be able to get any place else for what we're spending. It's a private ranch-style house that has a big fence. They cook the food right there in the kitchen and they have balanced meals. They always make sure that the residents are getting proper hydration. It's a very casual and homey kind of place. I'm grateful for everything they're doing for my mom. They actually take ownership of her care and they really help, so we work together. There's always a caregiver there, and the owner sees the patients several times a week. The staff is pretty knowledgeable. The food looks and smells good, and the people seem to like it. The place is older, but it's neat and clean. The price is very reasonable at $3,600 a month and it's all-inclusive.
