My Mother was diagnosed with Lew Bodies Dementia. One of the more challenging Dementias to manage. The staff were OUTSTANDING with my Mother's ever changing needs. While visiting with my Mother on many occasions I was able to witness first hand the attention not only to my Mother but others who Lived in Courtyard Manor Swartz Creek with her. The staff GENUINELY CARE for those they assist. When I looked for an Assisted Living/Memory Care for my Mother the most important thing to me was not how fancy or expensive the building was or was not but rather how will the staff take care of my Mom. I felt Very much at Peace with my Mother at Courtyard Manor Swartz Creek. It's not the building or the business it's the GIVERS OF CARE. THANK YOU, COURTYARD MANOR SWARTZ CREEK STAFF FOR GIVING MY MOTHER A LOVING HOME. THAT IS WORTH ALL THE MONEY IN THE WORLD TO ME.

Courtyard Manor of Swartz Creek was nice and smaller. I liked it. I just like the other ones better, although there wasn't anything against Courtyard Manor. It was fine. They had activities for the people that were staying there. It was a little older. It was a nice place. It was fine. The staff that I met with was nice and very knowledgeable.

We visited Courtyard Manor of Swartz in person. We met outside and walked around the facility and looked in a couple of windows. It seemed like a very positive experience. It seemed like a well-cared for facility. We weren't able to go inside, but just the impression we got was that it was a well-run facility. The staff seemed very professional and had a positive outlook. We only met one person. We were able to look through a window, but we couldn't really see the room very well inside. The exterior seemed well cared for and in good shape.

My father is in a private room at Courtyard Manor of Swartz Creek. He's legally blind, and they're giving him everything that he needs. They're wonderful, caring, loving people, and they do things immediately upon request, so that nothing is forgotten or undone. They do a lot, and he participates when he can. They do a good job. They decorated for the holidays and made the place look nice, and it always smells good when you walk into the building. Their price is pretty comparable to everyone else in the area, but it's an awful lot of money for a single room and it's not even a studio. It's a bedroom and a bathroom, and to me that's a lot of money even for the amount of care they're getting. They have a maintenance man on-site, and they take pretty good care of everything.

My dad was in Courtyard Manor before he passed away. It was great, and it was the best thing for him. I couldnt ask for anything better with the lady that run the place, and the hospice nurse is just top-notch. They only have 20 rooms, its not a big place, but they have staff members to take care of him. The staff was all caring, theyre right there, and they took care of all our needs. Its a little expensive, but thats the way it is. They have two halls, and in the middle was the kitchen and dining area. There's an area in the back and an area in front with a TV and piano where the people can gather. Its clean, well-kept, looks new, and his room was nice. The people in there were happy with the place. The room looked like a hotel room in a way. He had a handicapped bathroom, a closet, bed, and a chair, but you can also bring your furniture. The rooms were nice and looked pretty comfortable. They have a bus that takes them on excursions, they have games, they have church on Sundays, and a high school choir once came in and sang.

My mom was a resident for 7 mos before she died. I could not ask for more compassionate, capable care. Including end of life. I am a RN with hospice background. I trusted them completely. I would not hesitate to refer to this facility.

Courtyard Manor and its programs looked fine, but it was more expensive. The person I talked to did not seem to be knowledgeable, and it turned me off. The rooms were not well-appointed. The bathroom was handicap accessible but not large enough to manipulate. It was not a good fit for my relative.

The tour of Courtyard Manor went well. It's a very nice facility, but they were more expensive than what I was looking for, and there was nothing specific that stood out. The room space was nice and centrally located to where they needed to go, like the dining room.

We toured Courtyard Manor of Swartz Creek. We put down a deposit, but they did not have a room available for my mother. It was a nice clean place, but it was just a little too small.

Courtyard Manor was the place my friend ended up with, and the staff was nice and friendly. However, they say that they are a memory care facility, but they did not know how to handle my friend. She was sent out to the hospital two weekends in a row because they did not have staffing for her. They had only 2 people on a night shift on weekends. We were very unhappy with the place.

Courtyard Manor was very attractively decorated. The walls and the halls were all different themes. It had a nice dining room, a nice area for family where you could get away from everybody else, and another living room if you wanted to get away from the main living room. If you had a bunch of company or you would have a private party, you had a place to go that was still attractive and had a nice area outside.

I visited Courtyard Manor of Swartz Creek. That's the one where we walked in where they had all the residents in a circle doing nothing. I really didn't like that. The staff was very nice; however, she didn't really go in detail. Also, their rooms were set up like a nursing home. Their rooms had a single bed, and they smelled like a nursing home. They were nice and clean, but the smell in there was not pleasant. The dining area was just like a regular dining area.

I was able to visit Courtyard Manor of Swartz Creek, and it had a nice environment. The price was more affordable at this place. They try to make it a homey atmosphere, but it was not as luxurious. It was a step down, but yet it was still nice. It seemed like it was run well, and it's very well-organized. When I went there, I saw that they were upgrading the place. It had nice-sized rooms. The staff were very good. They even went a step further to try to get some additional information for me when they didn’t know what the answer was. I am not really familiar with regards to their activities, but I know they take people out shopping. They do daily activities. They have an activity girl who is in charge of things. They have bingo and movie nights. They just had some things to keep them busy every day if they wanted it.
