The staff, nurses and nurse's AIDS are awesome. They were all there anytime I needed anything. The weekend staff could use a little work as far as knowing what is going on but otherwise I was very pleased with the quality of my stay. I would recommend this facility to anyone looking for quality service.

my wife spent 10 days here for rehab for a fractured hip and was very happy with the care received here. the place is very clean, food is decent and staff very helpful. doctor and nurses were great and the occupational and physical therapists were excellent. a special shout out to david(physical therapist) for his compassionate and encouraging care .thank you all very much. we appreciate you.

Rooms are well organized and clean. A bit small but my dad has a great view of the outside. Staff is very friendly and helpful. When you engage with them they are more than willing to share what they know and provide any help they can. Dads PT and OT team are terrific and the food is better than most institutional food with a variety of options. I think as I read the other reviews, so people forget how lucky we are to have a fantastic staff and advocates working on our behalf. No one there has been rude and sometimes expectations and engagements are two way. I'm please and so is my dad. I appreciate what Whittier offers and thank them for their contributions to getting my dad back on his feet!

We were told this was the best of the best. I would say average at best although PT and OT are good. There are also the few nurses and CNA'S who go above and beyond. It seems there was/is short staffed. It usually takes awhile before someone responds to a call button. My relative needed her bandage changed and no one ever came so I ended up doing it myself which is not why I am here. I am here to visit. Some things need to change here before I or anyone I know would come here

Horrible experience here. The Doctors barely speak English. The nurses are rude, condescending, dis-respectable and not responsive when you need help. They tie patients to the beds and force you to be bed-ridden with the beds body-weight alarmed and some patients leave with bed-sores. The food is disgusting and un-healthy consisting of all salty canned foods. The so-called “Nutritionist” barely speak English. This place is a dirty low-grade nursing home. I am younger, athletic and was there for a post-op orthopedic recovery. This place is ok if your demented and cannot complain but they will rob you blind. You’re better off being homeless in Kelly Square.

Did a lot of research where to send Mother post severe stroke. Chose Whitter and truly was impressed with the degree and extent of rehab services as well as the involvement of her assigned AP. There are very few true rehab programs out there for seniors. This is one of them.

Leaves a lot to be desired for those who send loved ones here. Confusing policies that are not explained to family members, you have to ask a lot of questions and figure it all out on your own. Busy staff who seem to be working double shifts. Many are dedicated and hard working, but family members are left to figure out what is happening to loved ones' care plans and discharge plans. Very few amenities - no laundry services, for instance, and not very good food.

The care provided by Whittier Rehabilitation is very good. The food was very good as well. The rooms are very nice. The parking in the area was great too. There wasn't many activities, but there are more rehabilitation programs. They would work with him, and it seemed to be well. My father was sent home earlier than we thought he would be. But it wasn't their fault; it was his insurance.

Whittier Rehabilitation Hospital was where my husband stayed for about three weeks for his rehabilitation. It was a very clean and beautiful place but it was for rehabilitation only. The food was delicious, you could choose what you wanted everyday from a menu. Unfortunately, I felt that the staff was unfriendly.
