I am a resident of the Reservoir Healthcare Center of Marlboro, and I love it here, I have been here for 7 years. I find it very easy to live here, even in these new situations of covid19, I can say that they, the staff are doing everything possible to keep us safe. They provide activities and make sure that we have things that we want and need. The nurses are awesome and the activity department are just going above and beyond, although we can't have visitors we have visits from staff members especially from activities, they bring us coffee daily, there is no better place to be right now.

My mom got compression fracture and had 3 weeks rehab in the facility. They have done a great job. Facility is Always clean and quiet, staffs are super caring and professional. Case manager and social worker are so dedicated. Front desk staffs are very friendly. Has to be fair, with post Covid crisis, everything is so challenging. This facility has done amazing job to care their patients.

My mother was here for several weeks in the short-term rehab section. While, we did encounter two, kind caring staff members (On an RN and one an LPN), the majority of the staff could care less about the patents. The food looked horrible. Most of the time it was served on styrofoam plates, which is not only completely unappealing, it is also horrible for the environment. Veggies were cooked to mush. Mom was on a low-salt diet, yet everything she tasted was overly salted. When you push the button for assistance, 90% of the time, it takes more that 15 minutes. The only way to get her help was if I went to the front desk and asked personally for it (sometimes had to ask more than once). So I felt like I could never leave or she would never get help. Showers are one a week maximum. Mom said it was very loud overnight and she could not rest. Mom needed a second rehab stint a month after getting discharged from the Reservoir. We refused to have her return. We chose to have her wait an extra day in the hospital so that she could go to another facility. This other facility was almost a half hour drive further than the Reservoir, but we were so unhappy with the Reservoir, that we chose the further away place anyways.

A close relative was there 6 days. My relative was told not to get our of bed by themselves to use the bathroom to ring them instead for help. They did. No one came. The relative had an accident in her bed. Then when someone FINALLY came they told her they'd be right back to clean her up. She NEVER returned. Left her in feces for over an hour. She had to ring the bell again and someone different came and cleaned her up. Despicable!!! She was embarrassed and ashamed. She had just had major surgery and was unable to get up to go herself. They were short with her and down right rude. Food was horrible. Dinner several nights was a bologna sandwich which she doesn't eat ever. She was supposed to be on a diabetic diet. Breakfast was a Danish? I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone

Certain members of the faculty went above and beyond in caring for my mother, a former RN. However, others were rude and brief with her, not possessing the patience and sincerity it requires to be a competent nurse. The food was not that great, but then again food in assisted living facilities and nursing homes have never won culinary prizes. They did have raffles and other exciting incentives for the seniors but for the most part they seemed confined to their rooms and unable to have freedom in their activities. All in all it gets a moderate rating. Not the best, not the worst.

my mother was in bolton manor for rehab, she weighs about 90 pounds soaking wet. she was on a fat free diet the whole time she was there,Nobody knew why. She is not diabetic and has no restrictions. The food was terrible and most times she didnt know what she was eating. The care was fair and the rehab was great. I would not put a dog in that place.
