My mother is now at The Arbors at Taunton Massachusetts. The reasons why I chose them are their location and their price. They have nice rooms. They have a little function room, an activity room, a nice restaurant, a bar area, and nice outdoors. The staff are good, nice and caring. My mom doesn't participate. She's an introvert, unfortunately. She would rather stay home, but they have bingo, card games, and stuff like that.

My mom moved into The Arbors at Taunton Massachusetts. We're very happy with it so far. The facility is beautiful and well-maintained. My mom's room is perfectly sized. The staff members are very helpful and caring. They have tons of activities. They go out shopping, to eat, or for ice cream. My mother had one meal there before I left her, and she said she liked the food.

I have known n adored the staff here for 3 yrs and they are all great but there is one CNA that every time i have ever gone to see my relative just goes above and beyond even when the residents she cares for are not in the best of cooperative moods she remains calm, carasmatic and has a way with them in a way ive never seen I think every resident in that facility cant wait for her to be on shift ive witnessed her fellow coworkers reach out when they are in need of her finesse if you will and thats not to say her cowoekers are lacking they are all wonderful. My relative sais shes her personal angel because even when her shift is over she sits with residents if they are in need of company, reassurance or just somet loves h The staff seem to really genuinely care for there residents i feel though for all the hard work that companies employees do its not for the pay its clearly out of love because they dont make enough in my opinion not especially now where covid is concerned these heroes do it even in the face of a virus that has crippled our nation with fear. Thank you all for taking care of my loved one as well as all of the residents!!! My daughter now sais she wants to do what the nice girls in black uniforms do at memes place because she wants to help people too and that alone speaks volumes thank you Arbors my family is forever in your debt

My Mother was placed at the Arbors a few years ago. It is very expensive, but they never have enough staff to care for residents. My Mom has been losing weight so I cook for her and make sure I cook so that she has enough leftovers for a few extra meals. Even with writing to nursing staff and leaving notes in her room for staff to offer the leftovers to my Mom, they never prepare the leftovers for her (she doesn't like the food there) and I end up throwing out my Mom's favorite meals. Home cooked food is something she looks forward to. Staff, including the Executive Director, act like they are doing you a favor to simply do anything for your loved one. There have been multiple incidents where my Mom didn't get her medications (they were put in her microwave!) and ongoing theft. Management, enables rather than deals with these issues. I would not recommend this facility to anyone.

My stepfather is at the memory care site of The Arbors at Taunton. We chose that place because of its location, and they were willing to work with us. We had a very short time frame of moving him because he had been in the hospital and then into rehab for physical therapy. I needed a place that was actually willing to take somebody that was having a problem. The staff is really good and really nice. Any time he messes up his TV, they will go into his room and help fix it. They're actually quite helpful. I've met quite a few of them so far and they're really, really nice and always willing to help. I've met the maintenance guy, the cooks, the kitchen staff, the directors, the people that work at the front desk, and the nurses. He's only been there for about a week, but I've met a lot of people already. The food is also good, and he doesn't seem to have any complaints, but he's just used to my mom's cooking. The facility itself is actually really, really nice too. It's very easy to navigate because it's like a big square. You really can't get too lost. They're always cleaning, so the place is quite clean. There's no clutters in the hallways and the nurses that were coming in wanted to make sure that they knew where everything was. His apartment really looks good as well. They are just awesome, always willing to answer our questions, and willing to get involved. You can always find somebody there to help you figure out where you need to be or where you're going or how to get there.

The Arbors Assisted Living at Taunton was awesome. It wasn't huge, and it was more like a cozy environment. The gentleman who gave us the tour was very knowledgeable and very friendly. He's a 5, but I didn't meet anybody else. It was very clean and neat. I live in Taunton, so it was very close to me; it's right on the main road. It's off the road a little bit; so once you get in there, it's nice and quiet. It has a nice, relaxed feeling once you're in there. The outdoor space was very nice and clean. There were nice gardens upfront.

My parents-in-law moved to The Arbors at Taunton Massachusetts. They provide excellent care. Their apartment is excellent, clean, and nice. They have a garden, but with COVID, it's been difficult. You can't bring people out together, but they bring them out. They have all kinds of activities, except with COVID it's limited right now. The food is good. They have very nice and excellent people. They have a one-bedroom, kitchenette, bathroom, and living room.

Memory care food is always cold . This has been the case since beginning. The other day I spoke to my mom and all she got for supper was a cold grilled cheese. She was hungry. Food service has gotten progressively worse with covid. High turnover of employees for caregivers. . Many do not follow what was asked and then they come up with some lame excuse for why things that were in contract not adhered to. Downstairs has places to visit that are beautiful but upstairs memory there is nothing except their rooms. All the good stuff seems to be for those just in assisted living and not in memory care

The staff is friendly and helpful and the facility is exceptionally clean. The residents have a wide variety of activities (exercise, crafts, music etc.) to keep them engaged on a daily basis as well as outings to restaurants and shopping. One of the highlights is the musicians who perform at both resident activities and family events. Families are encouraged to participate in special activities.

Horrible, I wouldn't let my dog live there. They are always short staff because they don't pay enough. Which leads to less attention to residents. Food is decent but God for bib if your hungry "THAT'S IT!!" . THE PORTION ARE FOR 2 YR OLDS. The don't even have a nurse on that site. There are 2 girls to each floor residents aren't getting there needs met by far. That place needs to get it together. More money and stronger staff BOTTOM line. It's going down hill with new management

We really liked The Arbors at Taunton Massachusetts. It had a great sense of community. The rooms were really nice and there were no shared spaces. The interactions between the staff and the residents was very positive and genuine. The person who showed us around was really nice. The place happens to be one of the more expensive ones. They have very competitive bingo because they play for money, they play cards, do puzzles, and there are several different activity areas. They have a lounge for Happy Hours, and they have an informal and a more formal dining room area. It was very nicely-done.

Mom's apartment at The Arbors at Taunton Massachusetts is a nice one-bedroom. They have bingo, exercise, pet therapy, movies, people coming in to do music and singing, and kids coming in from dance schools. The staff is good. I don't have complaints. They have a library, a sitting room, a community room where they do happy hour, an activity room, someone who plays the piano in another gathering room upstairs, and a party room that you can rent out.

The Arbors at Taunton Massachusetts was very well-kept. Everybody was happy and engaged, and it reminded me of a cruise ship; people were just having fun. They have a really nice dining room that they go down to for their meals, they have a lot of activities inside and outside that they go to, and the rooms are beautiful, well-kept, and spacious. My mother is staying there.

They seemed knowledgeable and seemed helpful as much as any other facility, but I didn't feel The Arbors was the right place for my mom. They all have activities. The sanitation is very good. I don't know, but it is hard to pinpoint it. I just go by a gut reaction I had between the two places. I think my mom would do well in either place. Maybe I was a little bit more familiar with the other facility. They are all clean, and they're all well laid out. The staff is all friendly and seems to be genuinely helpful. It depends on the individual, what their comfort level is, and what they get out of it.

Before my sister-in-law was sent to a rehab facility, she stayed in The Arbors. It was an excellent facility. I like everything about it, for example, the way it was set up, the staff, etc. They have very good and spacious accommodations. Their staff was very good. I totally like this place.

There is quite a problem with theft here. The staff blames your loved one "bad memory" "accidentally threw it out", it makes your loved one think they are crazy! I am friends with family members of two other residents in addition to my mom (no longer there). One of them put a hidden camera in a flower pot, that was stolen too. Management dimisses the problem even though we narrowed it down to the hours of 10 pm to 6 am when the things turned up missing. Clearly a staff member - still it was dismissed. One RN told me "don't believe anything your mother says" when I said I didn't know what to believe! These people are unprofessional at best and uncaring at worst. There are exceptions of course, but not in the management ranks. Go anywhere but here. I had my mom, an aunt and my best friend's mom all here with the same issues.

The people who care for the dementia patients in this facility are top notch. There is always mental stimulation, physical activities, exercise, outings. They go the extra mile and make the residents feel secure & safe.
