We're fairly familiar with The Linda Manor because my mother-in-law was there. She was with them for six years. We then went there about four to six weeks ago to make inquiries for mom. The facility was well maintained. They've got a spacious dining area and common area where the TVs are and where they set up bingo and have events during the year for the residents. The grounds were certainly nice. There's a lot of outdoors where they do concerts and other outside events during the year for, not just the residents, but also families to come and visit. At the time, we did certainly take advantage of those. The different tiers of care from rehabilitation to the living situation were comfortable and they're adequately staffed. We certainly had good relationships with the staff and I believe it continues to be the case based on our more recent visit. There were no surprises. I think everything was quite well in order. We were certainly always welcomed in the past and I think that same measure of access and engagement with family in terms of getting support and knowing what's going on was always very good. The COVID protocols were not in place when my mother-in-law was there, but even now, I'm still able to engage pretty efficiently with the staff and the facility amenities and so forth. We got everything that we expected and everything that we asked for. They were engaged, and they had good communication and good planning. There were some things that my mother-in-law liked to do, and planning the activity schedule for her was something we worked on closely with the staff to make sure that if we were not there at a particular time and she wanted to, for instance, go to bingo or whatever the event was, she'd be on a list to come on down and so forth. The staff was helpful with all that. On occasion, we joined her for the meals and we were in her room depending on her mobility from time to time, but she was always happy with the meals, and certainly when we dined there as well, we were happy with the service and the quality. The activities were very good. There were many offerings and my mother-in-law took advantage of some of those. Everything that she wanted to get to was organized. She got to enjoy what she wanted to, and there were certainly plenty of choices.

My mother will be moving into The Linda Manor. The administrative staff was excellent. They were friendly. They kept in touch with us. I've been talking on the phone with them multiple times. This was the second tour that we took. The facilities are clean and updated. There are lots of things to do for the residents that live there. It's laid out well. It's ADA accessible. They work hard with your family to make sure it's the right fit. It's a little more expensive than some others, but it's local to our family. I checked their dining area. Their menu is excellent. The food that they have there regularly is excellent. The entrees in different evenings were very good. We didn't get to try them, but we went once in the morning and once in the afternoon, and people were lined up at the door, and we actually talked to some residents, and they were very happy with the food. We got to see a couple different apartments. They were all one-bedrooms, but they were different sizes, because I was looking for both, not only my mother, but my father as well, so I wanted them to be together. They were similar setups, but they had all the things that my parents needed. I thought they were laid out well. The closet sizes were good. The bedroom sizes were appropriate for a bed and dressers. It had all the amenities that you really need when you've downsized. One of the things I loved about the place was it's clearly a place where people were going to continue to live, not to just exist. You could tell the rugs maybe in the bedroom were getting older.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Linda Manor assisted living. My dad has been living there for two years after we lost my mother. I find all the staff, caring and attentive and my father absolutely loves the food! Special kudos go to Jim, the Linda Manor van driver, who has been absolutely wonderful to my father and all the residents! He genuinely cares about the residences, and goes the extra mile to make them feel special! I’m actually writing this as our nation and the world is dealing with the coronavirus, with the stay at home social distancing. I can’t say enough wonderful things of how the staff and management has been taking care of my father and all the residences. We need to applaud the frontline workers, Nurses, aids, Charlie the handyman and those that clean and disinfect all the property and All those that take care of our elderly! I clearly cannot be there with my dad, but I know that he’s well taken care of!

The Linda Manor was a very nice facility. We toured a little 1-bedroom apartment. It looked similar to what she has now, but it was more expensive. They have a place for Alzheimer's patients, but it's more like a nursing home from what I understand. One person took us on the tour and she was very friendly.

The Linda Manor is a really good place. When we first brought my father in, he was in a very severe condition, but they really helped him. Dad loves it there. He does exercises with the other residents. He loves his own apartment, and it looks pretty good. The food is also really good. The staff is incredible; they treat him very well. The price is also very good. Dad has really good friends there. They have bingo, music, and people coming in to play the piano.
