My parents and I visited the Prosper at Fall River's assisted living portion. It was a hotel converted into senior living. I've lived in that area all my life so I know that originally it was a hotel. It's not a new place and it wasn't built for that. It was clean but very antiquated. The size of the rooms is like the size of any hotel room. The staff was fine and the one person we dealt with was very organized and structured.

Prosper at Fall River was a smaller place. The building was previously a hotel. The rooms were very small. They recently updated the common spaces and that looked nice, with brighter colors and so forth, but it felt a little bit more intimate, a little bit more closed in. The hallways weren't as wide and spacious as the other place. We liked the woman who gave us the tour. She answered a lot of our questions. The thing that we didn't like about it is the size of the rooms. They are extremely small. There is very little storage for clothing and belongings. They have a chapel where they offer Catholic mass six days a week. They have a place where she can have her hair done, a manicure, and an activities area.

I toured Prosper at Fall River. The rooms are nice and the place is very clean. They have different activities. The people are very nice, clean, and well-managed. The Prosper is more like in the city area. I could walk to a coffee shop, or even buy something if I wanted to. There are a lot of restaurants and I'm close to a library over there. They have a microwave, a refrigerator, and a little pantry. There are a few storage cabinets below the countertop and some cabinets above the sink area. It's not a kitchen, you just put some stocks up there. A lot of people here purchased an air fryer, which I have. You could cook but you can rather use the microwave if you like, and no stove because you can get three meals a day. Prosper is cheaper if you don't have any medical help, and if you want that, I think the staff said it was like one hour per day, every day for a month. There was a fee for that. You meet with an RN in the building and they decide if you could use half an hour or an hour or something out of time every day for help. The more help you need, the more you pay. They have a dining commons. They had like two chefs for dining in early dinner or late dinner or for lunch. It's a value of the choice of what you want, then you sit with them in a group that they feel would be a good group to sit with because most of the tables there have four people at each table. The staff was very professional, had a lot of experience, and knew their responsibilities.

I was able to visit here. It was a nice, clean place. The people were friendly. They looked like they had things to do for everybody. Their rooms seemed nice, clean, and big enough. The staff member who gave us a tour was very nice, helpful, and went out of his way to help us. They take the residents on trips, play bingo or other games, watch TV, and provide snacks throughout the day.

I was very impressed with them. I felt like they were very straightforward and went right into financing. I thought it was really smart that they went right into the price point and what insurance would cover and what other aids you might get in there. Then we did the tour where they answered all of my questions. Every aspect of the place was opened to me. They showed me the kitchen, the dining area, the day area, and gave me an activities schedule for visual activities or haircuts. They were really comprehensive about it, I was very impressed. They showed me a room that was being painted and had the carpet replaced. It was definitely small and did not have a good view out the window. It looked down on a rooftop; that part I was not impressed with. The dining room looked really pleasant and impressed me.
