Mom has been in Atria for about a year and a half. The entire staff is so, so caring. They really invest themselves with the care of the residents. Rooms are nice and the outdoor courtyard - Mom loves it! Only issue, communication could be better but I understand they are busy taking care of people like my mom!

My parents and I visited Atria Aquidneck Place. It is in a ritzy area of Portsmouth, so the appearance of it is much better, and it was very nice. Even the grounds were very nice. It was built to be a senior living place, unlike how other places take something and convert it into something else. We looked at their 1-bedroom apartments in their assisted living, and they were spacious enough for 2 people. The staff we met was fine.

Atria Aquidneck place is a meticulously kept community because of all the staff are extremely attentive to their residents! The staff go above and beyond to ensure their residents' needs are being met and always try to promote independence and dignity for their seniors. The food and activity programs both have variety and can be catered to any needs upon request. Most residents and families say they wish they found Atria Aquidneck Place sooner! Schedule a tour to feel the immediate warm and welcoming environment of this community - you wont regret it!

Our tour was excellent with Sandra and we can not wait for mom to move-in at the end of the month. We had lunch in the dining room with Alice B. and Tony A. and our Meatloaf Dinner was outstanding. Mom used to be very social and is isolated at home...today showed her that living at Atria is the absolute right choice!

Our tour was wonderful....Sandra was very professional and calm. My mom met many residents and we stayed for lunch which was delish! The grounds are impeccable, the apartments were very tastefully decorated and well thought out. My mom is excited about her move to Aquidneck Place!

Rooms are small. Each year is a large increase that they blame on COVID. Parent has been there since 2021 and started at $4K and it is now up to $6K. That's increasing faster than inflation and rents. I have had the displeasure of eating food there, do not recommend. When they lock down they feed them sandwiches and drop other services. They have a lot of activities, but don't really do much as far as getting the residents to interact and move. I would suggest looking for cheaper alternatives as it was great at first but has increased greatly in fees and has gone downhill at the same time.

We went to Atria Aquidneck Place twice. We met with Cassandra and she helped with subsequent conversations with my mother. She was really helpful, very calm, and professional talking with my mother. My mom very much liked the setting of the place because it was surrounded by trees everywhere and it was extremely peaceful. No one seemed to be in a hurry to do things. She found it very calming. The people seemed genuine in their dealing with her and answering her questions. I found the rooms to be very inviting. The colors that were chosen were pleasantly neutral. Everything felt brand new and comfortable. The layout of the room seemed to be very easy to move around in. Everything was wide open and accessible. Particularly, the bathroom was nice, bright, and open. The kitchen was just right for someone who doesn't cook much anymore. Everything was easily accessible. Nothing was confusing. Everywhere we went was nice, bright, and well-lit. There was natural lighting everywhere.

I had an excellent tour at Atria Aquidneck Place. Everything was clean and fresh. The grounds were immaculate. They were doing a little bit of refurbishing and it was just lovely. Every staff member I met knew the name of every single individual in the facility. We'd stop and talk to them. The gentleman that conducted my tour talked to practically every single person that he saw. It wasn't just to say hello. He had something personal to tell them. In some cases, he would even help the person to get to where they were going. He was very friendly. The apartments were nice. They're very, very small, but all assisted living apartments are. The kitchen was above average. They were being repainted, etc., so it's hard to tell what they would be when they were done, but they had put in new counters.

My 94 year old mother was in the assisted living side of the Portsmouth Atria center for about 4 years. She was moved over to the memory unit about a year ago. The memory care unit gave her more personal care and has improved her quality of life. They make sure that she eats regularly and healthy. They have been able to get her to engage more with the community and participate in the community activities. We are very pleased with their help

I toured Atria Aquidneck Place for my mom, and I saw both the assisted and the memory care. It was good. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was a great facility and relatively new. They were neat and tidy. I saw a couple of rooms where the residents had moved out. They were in great shape, and I think they would just freshen them up with some new paint.

We toured Atria and it was very nice. The people were very friendly. They had a concierge at the front when you come in. We took a tour of an apartment and a studio. Then she showed us the different areas around the complex. There was an OT room where they could go and do some exercises, there was a laundry area, and I saw the nurses' area. The staff members were very good. They sent my mom a meal at her house so she could try the food; they definitely went out of their way. After the tour they gave us pumpkin muffins. It was very nice. They had gardens where we could walk outside. The landscaping was very nice. They had a gazebo outside and outdoor furniture like rocking chairs in the front. It was very pretty.

I found Atria Aquidneck Place very enjoyable. They have lots of activities and nice décor. The apartments were very nice, adequate and good size bedroom, living room, kitchenette and a nice size bathroom. The food was excellent. The staff was very friendly. But their prices were out way just high. My mother enjoyed the wine and trivia as part of their activities. They had lots of movies and bus available to go shopping. My father enjoyed the library and the puzzles.

I know somebody who is living at Atria Aquidneck Place. I visited this place. It was very modern, very new, and very sociable. The people were very helpful. With the residents who were there, socialization was good. With regards to resident-working staff relationship, it was very nice, very close, and very helpful. They would try to make everybody feel like part of their family. Their rooms were beautiful. Everything was brand new. It was a very pretty facility. They were all well-kept and right up to par. With the prices they're paying, they should be top shelf.

This is a beautiful facility, however the turnover in the management staff is unbelivable. Since my grandmother has been at this place, there have been three executive directors, two dementia directors, two nursing directors, and more. The staff in the kitchen and nursing always seem to be working short and working double shifts. This makes them grouchy sometimes.

My tour with Forest Farm was very favorable and it was very informative. The thing that we liked was that the Independent living and the Assisted Living were all inter-mingled. It was very nice. The entire facility was clean and the people around were friendly. During the visit, I noticed a lot of residents around doing some activities. The rooms were very spacious and they have a full kitchen.

Everyone welcomed my mom so warmly that she felt right at home. She loves the food and all the staff is very eager to help any way they can.
