We like everything about The Arbors at Dracut. We like the staff, the facility itself, and the care that they can provide. They're compassionate and friendly. The quality of the food is very good. They're delicious and nutritious. Dad has a one-bedroom studio apartment and it's very spacious. He has a kitchenette, a dining area, and a very large bathroom with a handicapped chair in the shower stall. He's got two very large closets and a cable hook-up. So, he has his TV near his bed. He is very happy there. They have many activities that the residents participate in. They go on field trips when the weather's nice. They have a minivan that takes them out to a park or out for ice cream. Sometimes they go out to lunch. Some entertainers come into the facility as well. So, there's always something going on.

I loved how sunny and bright and airy It was at The Arbors at Dracut. They have high ceilings. The apartments were good size, and all very well thought out and designed. I think the bathroom was bigger than my bedroom in my house. It was so huge, it had large closets. That was lovely. It is set up in a square kind of thing. I loved the corner sunroom and then on another corner, it was another room designed as a library. I thought those were delightful. The cafeteria was just lovely. The marketing director was fabulous. She was informative and gave me a ton of information on whether we chose the Arbors or not. She was very helpful and would be open to any phone calls or any help that she could give going forward, whether we chose them or not. She explained different programs so that I understood them. We didnt eat there, but the food smells fabulous and delicious. I was ready to eat. I could not see a thing that was out of place in the facility. They had a terrific arts and crafts area and room. They had busses so that they would take the residents to the shopping to do some shopping if they wanted to, or to doctor's appointments. They included everything from three meals, open feeding, to laundry services, to religious services. It just didn't seem to miss a trick.

The Arbors at Dracut is brand new and only four years old. What I was really looking for was a two-bedroom with a kitchen that I could do cooking in. They had very good activities. The place was very clean, and it was just what I was looking for. The apartment had two bedrooms, two baths, a kitchenette, and a living room. They had a library, a theater, activities room, beauty shop, laundries, and mailroom. They have everything for an assisted living place. They meet the requirements of the state.

The Arbors at Dracut was very impressive. It was absolutely gorgeous. It was the most impressive as far as the layout and the apartments. The staff member who assisted us was very helpful. She showed us all around, and she explained a lot of things. They have a nice rec room. The dining area is lovely. They invited us to come and have lunch and to bring my stepmom's sister; they were very accommodating.

My mother-in-law moved to The Arbors approximately a year and half ago when the facility was just opening. She was extremely nervous about this move but we knew it was in her best interest. To our surprise she loved it! The staff is very caring and attentive, I can not say how wonderful they are. But it is not my opinion that matters the most, it is that of my mother- in-law, and again this year at Christmas when all the family was gather she told them all how wonderful it is where she lives. She told everyone how she goes to lunch with the “girls” every week, all the crafts she makes, the games she plays with the other residents, the “singers” that come an entertain them, how they bake and have Tea time, all the birthdays they celebrate and of course the “girls” that help her with her medication and personal needs. She just went on and on about every aspect of The Arbors especially the food. From my point of view I can not say enough about the staff, Jonathan the director was great at helping my husband and my self with our concerns when we were placing my mother-in -law, Michelle the office manager is wonderful and always can answer our questions, Maureen the receptionist is always cheerful and can even tell us where my mother-in law is in the facility most of the time! I can not say enough about the nurse, Lisa, she is wonderful and we do not worry any more about her medications. And Judy the activity director always keeps the residents busy, they have a very active social calendar. And I must say the aides are great, my mother-in-laws favorite is Maykala. As you can see it is not only my mother-in-law that has high praise for The Arbors in Dracut, I am also a great fan! We have two other elderly parents to take care of and knowing my mother-in-law has such great care we can spend more time with them and not worry that she is not getting the care and attention she needs. The Arbors is clean and bright and just a beautiful place to live. It had been open for a year and a half and is as clean as the day we move my mother-in-law in. Lastly and of great importance I would like to mention that we looked at a lot of facilities before placing my mother-in-law. Not only was The Arbors the number one choice it was the most affordable. Other facilities charge to do medications or for personal care but it is all included at The Arbors. I hope you find this helpful. I know people will be asking what are the negatives but honestly I have not found any in the year and a half we have been part of their family.

The Arbors at Dracut is a beautiful facility. The furnishings and decor make the Arbors feel like a very welcoming place. Every space, including the residents’ apartments, is kept immaculately clean. Most importantly, the staff are friendly and professional. When we were looking for an assisted living facility for my mother when it became apparent that she could no longer be safe living on her own, Jonathan Athanas, Executive Director, took his time answering our questions without making us feel any pressure to make a decision. He was very knowledgeable about options that were open to us and went out of his way to answer any questions we had. We know that our mom is in good hands at The Arbors at Dracut.
