It is so much easier for many to write a negative review about an establishment than to be realistic and sincere about the difficulties those who care for our loved-ones face day in and day out. My loved-one was at Blueberry Hill for a while and ultimately succumbed to COVID-19. Throughtout the stay there, I could not feel any more safer and at peace knowing that the staff there would provide my loved-one the needed comfort, attention and care needed. During the pandemic, I was not able to visit, but the team there made sure I was kept abreast of my loved-one's status. The Administrator Rudy was phenomenal in his communications to all family members informing us of the truth and never failed to return my calls and gave me a sense of comfort even after losing my loved-one. Many thanks to Lynne for being such a lovely soul and comfort to us. The nurses and CNAs there can't be recongnized enough for their dedicated effort and commitment to hang in there and care for my loved-one and all the residents there in such a trying and defeating time. 5 stars are not enough. I say thank you to the team at Blueberry Hill ... For those who wish to say something negative, please ask yourselves this, would you have done a better job had your loved-one(s) been at home with you? I doubt it! Otherwise your loved-one would not be or not have been at Blueberry or anywhere else.

I am in rehab now at Blueberry Hill. The place is clean, and they help me fold my clothes. I've been here many times, and the nurses are very good and they take care of us. They make sure we have our medicines. The food could be better, but they have a variety. I am comfortable, and they clean the rooms completely. They work with the people very well, and they do physical therapy.

This facility is terrible. The turnover in staff is atrocious and no one ever seems to have answers to questions especially in the long term units. There have been a number of unit nurses and directors in a short period of time and their laundry company is terrible. Clothes and personal items frequently go missing. If the resident does not have a family member that can check on them I feel bad as for those who do can see how lacking this facility is. Our family has had numerous issues that have been pushed aside because no one is accountable. Be cautious when checking this place out as the web site is very misleading and not at all what it projects. The few people who were good are either gone or will be as they will catch on. Do not put your loved one here unless you plan on being there daily. The facility needs a lot of work and better training for their help.

I have an immediate family member who is a long term care patient. The management of the facility are excellent. Some, if not most of the nursing staff is very good and caring. I appreciate the hard work and dedication of many of the staff, however there are a small number of monsters. The executive director and social workers are very attentive to the needs and care of the residents as well. The care of a patient with significant dementia is very important to the patient's family, and the decision to locate my family member at Kindred Blueberry Hill was a good choice.

I have have not have any bad experiences at this facility. The staff is very friendly and willing to help out at any time. They also answer all questions possible, In my experience if someone doesn't know the answer to a question they will find someone who does. There are weekly and monthly events to entertain resident. Some of the events I have noticed are bingo, card games and cookouts. They seem to try to make not only the patient but also the patient's visitors as comfortable as possible. The facilities always seemed clean, though they could use more hand sanitizer dispensers as I only recall one or two located near the entrance. There is a nice courtyard/patio outside with a grill. They have free Wifi in every room and also computers that can be used. Every room also has a t.v with free cable. They also offer paid services like haircuts that are very inexpensive.

My grandmother was a resident of Blueberry Hill for approximately 5 years. The facility is clean and they provide a variety of activities for the residents. The staff are all very friendly and care about the patients. During my grandmother's final days the staff was very respectful and allowed our family to visit and stay at all hours so that we could say good bye to my grandmother. I would recommend this facility to anyone forced to make the difficult decision to place a family member in a nursing home.
