My son was at Fayette Health and Rehabilitation Center for two months. It was awful. Everything about it was very unprofessional. There were too many patients in one room, and it was just awful. My son got so sick in there; he had pneumonia. They didn't take him to the hospital until it was late. And they didn't call and let me know that they had taken him up to a hospital that didn't have the care to take care of him with the pneumonia that he had. The staff was very bad. They would talk to them in a terrible manner. They're not professional at all. They didn't come when they needed them for anything, and just let the patients' bed wet, and it smelled awful in the room. The patients were all out in the hallway and not in their rooms. All of my son's clothes were stolen. And he has a prosthetic leg and the supplies for his prosthetic were gone. The staff didn't seem to know anything when I asked them about things. They didn't know. I had never seen any activities, too. My son never took any rehab there. He was just there. The food was awful, too. He could hardly eat whatever they gave him anyway because of the smell in the room. It was just terrible.

It's the support that. From the staff that makes this place the best.

Hi I was placed at this terrible place and I wouldn’t put a caged Rat to stay at this place. First of all I’m a type 1 diabetic with a heart condition. I was sent to this place to do rehabilitation from a car accident I was in. The first 12 hours in I hit the call because I wasnt feeling well from my diabetes all that kept happening was someone would come in turn button off tell me a nurse will be in to check my sugar that took 12 hours. It was 400 my level was. Then as the next day took place something happened I eventually started having chest pains had to call 911 myself it took a nurse 3.5 hours to come to my room to tell she was coming right back well she never did 4.5 hours later a gentleman came in my room told me the nurse walked out and quit. It took 12.5 hours to get my sugar checked again which was 473 I’m insulin dependent type 1 diabetic my sugar should be checked every several hours. I was told the place is alway short handed. My first room AC and Tv didn’t work. It seems this place should be shut down by the state or city. It looks like people don’t do there jobs there but 3 people I met Von Van and the gentleman Resavelt Williams who kept on making sure I was ok when I was having the chest pains. The man is doing jobs he shouldn’t be doing. He needs to be higher up in the place or place somewhere else better who appreciate him. Back to Von and Van they are awesome to but only social workers. The place needs to be shut down. I’m going to try to reach out to every city person news station about this terrible place. People don’t take the chance to lose a loved one. Thank god I’m okay but it could be something serious with your loved one and be to late. I wouldn’t let a pet rat stay there.

My brother was there this passed weekend, arrived on Friday, coming from Sinai Hospital. Sinai had placed a pic in him for a very bad infection. My sister had to call on the weekend (APPROX 2pm), because my brother stated he did not have lunch. He did get his lunch around 4pm, how messed up is that. His second day there he got into a confrontation with one the the staff members, this staff member broke his jaw. His walked out, and went to a hospital, he is now in there care. This place needs to be closed down!!!!!!

If I could give them a negative rating, I absolutely would. I do not see how this place has not been permanently shut down. They at the very least should have incurred tremendous fines. I had a loved on in there and from day 1 we were on a mission to move. The staff are rude, unhygienic, sarcastic, and should not work in the profession if caring for others. They gave my dad food he couldn't eat causing his glucose Level to raise at an unsafe level because they did not read his medical information. When approached about it, the response was nasty and rude. They do not clean rooms daily. The nsg staff wear cloth boots (unsanitary for nsg environment) and they often have stained unkept uniforms on. They have left dirty supplies in his bed. They have a code on stairs (fire hazard). There was a fire alarm and they left the patients. My family was scared to say the least. How can you leave your patients. There should be designated people to be with patients and ensure them they are OK. I wouldn't let rats live here!!!which they probably do. The professionalism is non existent. Clearly these people are here for a check only.

My brother has been in this facility for 2 weeks with in that time they have lost his cell phone burn the motor in his power scooter up he has to ask for water he has to ask for water and when they don't bring a Yes to take his own cup down to the cooler they don't even have a kitchen and get out of a cooler retrieve water from a public restroom which is disgusting I wouldn't put my dog in this place.
