We chose to have my mother in Caritas House Assisted Living because she is a devout Catholic and they have all the services and support that she wants and needs. The staff is friendly, accommodating, informed, helpful, and thorough. She has a 320-square-foot room on a corner with two big windows, high ceilings, and a large bathroom. It's very nice. The food is fine. There's a variety offered every day and it's good. They also have snacks available pretty much throughout the day whenever she wants them. There are classes, programs, gatherings, and social events every day of the week except for the weekend. There is a virtual mass offered every day, as well as an in-person mass offered on Sundays. There's a large garden terrace area, large common areas with game tables, small libraries on each floor, and large televisions on each floor.

Caritas House Assisted Living looked like it had some age on it, but it was all clean and in good order. The person that gave us the tour was very nice and very helpful. The rooms were smaller, but what I liked about the place was they had a designated meeting room. It was a good sized room for people to play bingo or for a group activity. They also had another smaller room where people could sit and read or play cards or something like that. My mom is a devout Catholic and they have a priest that would come in on Sunday to say mass and people of a religious order that visit the residents. They have a nurse available if somebody needs that, too. There also is a podiatrist that comes in. What's interesting is when you run out of money, they will accept medical assistance payments.

We chose Caritas House Assisted Living for my father because it's clean, it didn't smell, it's very nice, and it's very close to my house. The staff members were everything they should have been. The place looks great and it's located right next to St. Agnes. The rooms are a tad small. The dining area was very good and very clean.

My Mom was a resident at Caritas. Moving her to an assisted living facility was the hardest and the best decision we made. It was the best because of the staff at Caritas. Everyone there was patient and kind when dealing with my Mom who suffered from dementia. She loved the exercise classes and enjoyed being able to go to Mass everyday. She even had her nails polished each week. She looked forward to the field trips and when to the Pumpkin Patch and a few dinners while she was there. She also enjoyed the patio area in nice weather. Her room was spacious and clean. Thank you to everyone at Caritas House for making my Mom feel a home.

We place our loved ones in Caritas. I choose it because I feel that they are safe there. The staff is good. The grounds are maintained and well kept. I have tasted the food. They do not like it, but for me, it is average. They have bingo and things like that. The neighborhood surrounding Caritas is fine. The only problem I have is the entertainment. They do not change the channels on the TV. They are watching football and things like that, and they are not interested in football. Other than that, they are great.

My aunt absolutely loves it here! She is Catholic, although you don't have to be to be a resident, and appreciates the mass that they offer every day. My aunt feels so comfortable with the staff there and that's a hard thing to do for such a critical woman as she is. She always feels so much love from the staff and believes they have genuine concern for her. On top of that, she actually enjoys the food! When she first moved in to the facility we were really concerned but she's been loving it. The only complaint I've ever heard her make has been about some concern over the nursing staff in the fact that they seem overworked. She's made mention to the fact that they clean up her room as well as provide her direct care. She's nitpicked about them needing more help so that her nurses can keep up the great level of care they've been giving her. I don't know if that could really be considered a complaint. I consider it to be more of a suggestion. She loves everything about the facility and has kept a high level of enthusiasm ever since she moved in.

My family was very skeptical about letting my uncle live in an assisted living facility. There were many rumors about major problems in most of the facilities in Baltimore Maryland. But while doing research on different facilities, there were no bad reports about the Caritas House. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was quiet and very clean. The family was given a brief store and we were all in amazement. The scenery was absolutely astonishing. The family agree that the establishment would be an ideal place for my uncle to live instead of a nursing home because with assisted living , my uncle could still maintain his independence. The first day at the facility was a little overwhelming for my uncle, but once he was settled, he act like he was apart of the facility for more than one day. If i had to recommend the facility to others, I would. The only negative problem that i seen was there was no real dietary restrictions. The customers were allowed to eat all foods, but within small portions. I did not really agree with that method.
