My brother is at The Landing at Behrman Place. It's a nice place. There's a lot of friendly people there. The staff is wonderful, very friendly, and very helpful. The rooms are really nice. He has a 1-bedroom apartment. They have a barber shop, a dining room, three meals a day, and extra activities that they do. They have a worship service, church service, bingo, and different things like that. The food is real nice and they have an excellent chef.

We have no complaints about The Landing at Behrman Place Retirement Community, the place is fine. We were only looking for another place because we thought that my relative needed more assistance and not an independent living. Her room is really nice, she's got a studio and all her stuff fits in it. She also has her own private bathroom, she doesn't have a stove but they have a dining room for meals, and it's very nice. I think the staff is fine, there's always somebody at the door so that's a good thing. I've eaten there several times, the food is better than what I would expect from most places. Because of COVID, they're just starting to get back to some activities. They have some exercise in the chairs and things of that nature, but they used to have a lot of activities.

If I could give a negative 5 review, I would. My father has been at this facility for over a year. Previous leadership was satisfactory. However, a new executive director was hired who brought with him an extreme lack of empathy and blatant incompetence in his role. I have contacted corporate leadership in this regard and have been met with the same, if not worse, incompetence and utter disregard for the concerns of the family members of this very special population, especially during these unprecedented times. I would recommend anyone think this is a good place to live or place your loved one.

Landing at Behrman Place was really close to me, so it's a preferred site. It was clean and neat, and the lady I met with was very helpful, pleasant, and knowledgeable. She gave me a tour, answered all my questions, and gave me a pretty good idea of what amenities Landing at Behrman Place had to offer. They had three meals a day, housekeeping once a week, and provided transportation. They had a bus service to take seniors to their scheduled doctors' visits and shopping. They had social recreational activities. The dining facility looked very neat, attractive, and organized. Overall, I was impressed.

I liked the Landing at Behrman Place, and they invited me to spend 4 or 5 days there to get the feel of the place. It's very nice, but they don't have the little cottages that I like. They did have 3 meals a day which I like. The assisted living people and the independent living people all used the same dining room. They have scheduled trips to the grocery store and taking you to the doctor. It's typical of a place where everything is included in that one building. I had an early dinner there, and it was very nice. It was a light meal, like sandwiches. Their main meal is at lunchtime. I would definitely recommend it, and there's a lot of social activities there. They have a little more events and things planned for the tenants, and they try to get people to cooperate and play a part in that social environment. What's interesting about it is they're part of an organization that's all around the States, and if you're travelling and visiting these areas where they actually have a location, you're invited to stay free of charge. I thought that was a nice feature.

I liked the layout of the apartments with the patio at the Landing at Behrman Place. I also liked their management; they were very nice. They had arts, but I was not there long enough to see a lot of their activities. The people were very friendly, and the atmosphere was very good. The staff was very nice and attentive. They had a bus to take their residents wherever they needed to go. They had a beautiful dining room as well.

Landing at Behrman Place didn't smell, was neat, and had a good location. They had a van, but if you didn't want to take the van, you can take the bus there. It gave me more of a feeling of security than any other place. I had lunch with the director, and the staff was friendly. The food was really good. You can age in place there. They have an exercise room. The young lady who runs the place was very informative. Since touring the facility, the director has reached out and told me that if we need information to just let her know.

I visited this facility recently. It was nice. It had no kitchen, although 3 meals were provided plus snacks. It was a pet friendly. There was a good sized living room, a bath with a shower, and an adequate bedroom. There was a patio. I did not get to speak to the person in charge of rates, so I can't say it was affordable. There were other amenities I did not view.

The Landing at Behrman was wonderful, and the young woman I talked to answered all my questions, even the questions I didn’t ask. She reached out to me on several occasions. However, the living conditions are too high for me. I found all the facilities very nice. It was very clean, and the staff was very kind and cordial. The apartments I saw were absolutely excellent.

I'm at Landing now. It is clean. The price is right. The things that they have us do are something else. It is fun here. There are just a whole bunch of things. There is really good taste with what they offer here, you enjoy it. We have beanbag baseball. There is a party for all the birthdays in June. They have a Catholic service on Saturday, and on Monday it is Episcopal. However, I would like to have a swimming pool here. The staff is nice and considerate of all of us. They are very good. Meals are great. We have three meals, and we have choices. The rooms are nice. There are some apartments that have a kitchenette without a stove, and some have balconies. Each room has its own TV. I have a studio.

The Landing is just a very nice place, and the people who run it are great. They live on the property, and it seems they really care about the residents. The staff who toured us was very knowledgeable. Everybody has a great attitude towards their clients. They have Bingo, concerts, and all kinds of things. They had really nice portions of the food at the cafeteria. Price-wise, it was not on par with the other places because it was actually one of the cheapest ones I’ve seen.

Mom is in Landing. We choose it because it is close to where she lives and she can stay in touch with her friends and family. She can't move to Texas with us because her insurance didn't transfer. We spent a week at Landing and we just got back yesterday. It is wonderful and we are very pleased. The staff is great and very accommodating. They have studios, one bedrooms and two bedrooms. My mom is in a studio, while we stay in the two bedrooms. However, none of them have kitchenettes. If you cook, you have to have a microwave. They have different kinds of activities. They have exercising in the morning and they have art classes and some kind of sport every afternoon. They have bingo and Wii bowling those sorts of things.

The Landing at Behrman Place is very nice and clean. It was her choice to move in that facility. The staff seems to be very capable. They have social activities, exercise classes, and outings. It's been very good and I have no complaints, so far.

We found Landing At Behrman Place for my father but he hasn't moved in yet. We're still waiting for him to decide and open his wallet so to speak. There isn't a waiting list but they did put an apartment aside for us. Their rate is the reason we chose this place and also because it is a very nice community. The residents there are very nice. The food is delicious. Overall, I just feel 100% comfortable that they would take care of my father there.

The transition from living at home independently to an assisted living facility can be a rough time for a senior. Add to that the loss of a spouse and it becomes even more difficult. When we visited the Landing for my father-in-law our immediate impression was warm, friendly and welcoming. The staff interacts with the residents as if they are all one big happy family. The same staff members are at the facility as the day he moved in, which is so important for a senior to have the same people to interact with, because they know what the resident likes and can detect when the resident is not having a good day. The facility itself is impeccably decorated, and maintained. The meals are as if you were dining on a cruise ship, and there are activities for the residents to participate in. As you can tell I cannot say enough about the Landing, but I will add that when he moved in he was struggling with all the recent changes and loss in his life, and the staff starting with management took the time to embrace him and work through the huge adjustment and sense of loss he was experiencing.
