I chose The Phoenix at Hammond for my dad. Great customer service. He just moved this month. It's a five-star place. The staff communicates very well. He gets three meals a day, and it's everything he likes. They do happy hour twice a week. They took them on bus rides. It's brand new, and they just opened. The price of everything is right on point.

The grounds of the Phoenix at Hammond were nice. The room was clean and nice. The place was nice; it was something we were looking for. They were just open. The staff who gave the tour was very informative. The dining area was good. It was very, very appealing. They had very good food.

I like the flexibility that The Phoenix at Hammond has. As far as being able to get my wife out for a short term, if I wanted to, the possibility of having visitors even overnight with my wife, and even the use of the salon, if I wanted my wife to keep her same beautician. We looked at what I believe they called a studio. They were very spacious. It allows a lot of flexibility as far as what furnishings we want to bring in. The layout was nice. It's a nice, secure community environment for my wife if we go that way, which I think most likely we will. The staff was informative. I enjoyed watching them. They were very outward and engaging with other residents. So, that was encouraging.

I toured The Phoenix at Hammond. It was a beautiful, well-run facility. The staff was very knowledgeable and courteous. They have 24-hour care, seven days a week, and they're very attentive. They had a rec room. They had an outside patio. They had a big library, a big garden in the back, and walking trails. The dining area was absolutely beautiful and very clean, and a lot of staff were around assisting people. The residents were friendly.

I toured The Phoenix at Hammond. I like the friendliness of the manager. We did the walk-through, and she was joyful. The residents were so happy. She hugged everybody. She hugged all the residents. She hugged the workers and the workers were smiling and happy. The apartments were nice. They had a nice view. It was just a nice place to be. They showed me the dining area, which was immaculate and they showed me the library.

The Phoenix at Hammond was nice. It was a little more expensive. So, immediately I realized that was over our head. They showed me around a little bit, but I didn't go for a full tour with them because I had other things going on. It was nice and it's a new facility. They just built it. It's probably just a little more than a year, if at all, since they opened up. So, it's a brand new place. The rooms were a little more expensive than the other one I went to, but I have no complaints about them other than it was just a little more expensive. I looked at an assisted living studio deluxe, which is 462 square feet. The other studio was only 275 square feet, which was the one we're probably more interested in (I didn't see it because they didn't have one available and open at the time). Everything looked good. I saw the dining area. It looked good, too. They had some music playing, and they had some activities on a little side, and cards. So, I know they have activities for them and they mentioned that. It's a beautiful building.

The Phoenix at Hammond seemed very nice and very clean. The rooms were nice. You have to provide your own furnishings. The staff were helpful and friendly. The dining area was nice, clean, and plenty of room for people to get together. Most of the residents stayed indoors, but they have an outdoor area for them to go to.

I loved the way everything was set up at The Phoenix at Hammond. It catered to the reason why I was looking for, my dad. The staff was nice, friendly, helpful, informative, and knowledgeable about everything. The rooms were very nice and clean, and everything there looked well-maintained. I saw their common area which also had a place where they could eat. They had a little salon there, they had a little area where they could make certain things as far as food, or showing demonstrations. Then they also had other areas with different they can do. They have two separate court doors, one is for when they want to sit outside. But the way it's done is nice because it's still within the building, so you go out one door and still be in the building, so I like that. They also had an area where they could play different things.

My parents will be moving into The Phoenix at Hammond. It is a beautiful place. It's like a five-star hotel, and it's brand new. The rooms are set up, and floor plans are awesome. The staff seemed like they were awesome. It's just very, very inviting. We all had a mask on. They don't have any outbreaks. They go there once a week and test the resonance. Everything looks super clean in there.

My tour at The Phoenix at Hammond was OK. It just didn't impress me that much. It was clean. It just didn't have that warm atmosphere. I saw their one-bedroom, and it was good. I saw their exercise room, activities room, and art room. Their amenities were very good and very nice. It was very well-maintained. There was not too much in terms of their outdoors. There was a barbecue pit and a few tables, but that was about it.
