My mother moved into Hometown Manor Assisted Living. The people are very nice, I really like the room a lot, and my mother seems to be very happy there. I know they have activities, but right now they're not doing a whole lot because of COVID-19. My mother seems to enjoy the food there. There are only 15 residents, which makes it more comfortable for me, and she gets a lot of one-on-ones. It's very nice.

I put my mother in a care facility called Hometown Manor. It’s a small community. It’s clean, neat, and laid out well. The staff is attentive and helpful.

I didn't like my visit at Hometown Manor. It was not just to my mother's standards. The biggest turnoff was the obvious smell of litter bug. It was also dumpy and very small. The rooms were tiny, just one bedroom without a kitchen. They just have a shared cafeteria or kitchen. It was quite cheaper than the other places we looked at so you get what you pay for. However, the staff was nice.

We chose Hometown Manor for my mom because it was close to my home and it was a small facility. I liked that it was small and intimate like a small family home, with only 14 residents. The dining room was nice and the food was okay. The staff were very helpful. They helped my mother get dressed, helped with her food, kept her room clean and with just whatever that she needed. I would recommend this place to other people.
