I live in Plaza North Senior Residences and I like that you have to have a key to get in, so you can't just walk inside. The apartments are nice, but it's just they're too close to each other. I wanted something bigger. They have washer and dryer facilities, and in front of my apartment building is a center that has an exercise room that I go to, and you can participate in games and stuff like that. They don't have dining services because you can do your own cooking in your own kitchen.

This independent living high rise has lots to offer in the way of support services. While the location in the northeast part of the city is not the greatest (on busy 21st Street), it is a great choice for those with limited income and those wanting security. The police department is literally down the street. The senior center and the area agency on aging are connected to the building, along with a congregate meal site. Residents are encouraged to take advantage of all the great programs and activities. Also, lots of information available for those who may need help with government programs or resources Not much in the way of outdoor grounds. Apartments are well kept and site manager knows her folks.
