Rooms are clean and nice size. Food has a nice variety and is very good. The staff was extremely welcoming and helpful to my mother. There were times she was quite difficult to handle but the staff was always up to giving her the best care available. The owner was also always available and quick to offer any assistance he could. My brothers and myself could not have had any better care than what was provided by Legends.

We walked through the The Legends Village community to see assisted living. They had 3 floorplan options, and all of them have a kitchenette. There are no studios, and they're just depending on the size of the room. They have a lot more apartments. All of them are full 1-bedroom apartments, but with 3 different sizes. The staff was very nice and generous with her time. She answered our questions the best that she could, and she had the director contact me the next day. They have a movie theater. Their facility is set up kind of like a star, so each resident hall is off of the central corridor. There's a central courtyard. If you walk all the way around the central courtyard, off the hall there are like five or seven different wings that create a kind of star shape. Physically, it was bigger. Just walking around the circle is a good thing. Just walking wears my mom out. So, it was just too large physically for her. I'm sure we could get an apartment closer to the dining facility and not had to do the whole walk. The courtyard is beautiful and you get to bring your own outdoor seating. Each residence has its own porch in the courtyard, so you can bring your own stuff. I don't know if you can barbecue, but you can have picnics and things. They've also got a little table there.

We loved The Legends Village. The facility was very welcoming, and my mom has a little apartment with a separate bedroom, bathroom, a little sitting area, and a microwave and refrigerator in a small area. They give her medication and walk her to her meals, which were very good. The people are very welcoming. My mom wears a button around her neck and if she pushes it, she said the nurse is there in minutes, so she feels very relieved and happy. We're all very pleased with the care she's been given so far. They have a movie theater and ice cream parlor.

Mom will be in Legends Village for 2 years in December. It’s a very nice facility. They prepare their meals. They go down to the dining room. I think the meals are fine. They do my mom’s laundry, and they clean her apartment. All the things we were looking for is there. She says she likes it.

My parents are in Legends in Washington, Indiana. They are doing fine, and they love it. They have a beautiful apartment, and they have three meals a day with a chef. They have laundry facilities, a soda fountain, a country store, and a beauty shop. They have everything they need, so it's really good. The people are wonderful. It's a beautiful place -- just what my parents needed.
