We chose Legacy Living of Jasper for my husband just to get him away from the house and get him to do things. I can keep an eye on him at home with cameras but I just think that he needs to be out amongst other people, and he seems to enjoy that quite a bit. They played games and they were doing chair aerobics. They used to get them moving and try to help their mind down. They gave us a walk-through when we first went and it's very nice, clean, roomy, and it's a fairly new building. They also have an adult day care, nursing home, and assisted living. Their memory care is very nice. They have something for them to do every hour from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm and they have lunch for him at 11:00 am. They have a closed area outside that he can use which he likes. The people are very nice.

We went to look at Legacy Living of Jasper. They were very clear about everything. They showed us the property and explained what the price would include. They were very detail-oriented and helpful. They have a happy hour every day. There's a cafeteria, and they showed us that in addition to the specials they had an ala carte menu service. They showed us the courtyards, the laundry rooms, the fitness room, the main lobby, and the movie room. They showed us everything, including all the activities.

The tour I had at Legacy Living of Jasper was informative and very pleasant. Kylie was the one whom I was able to ask questions and she explained everything to me. She was very, very helpful and I was very pleased. I only got to see one assisted living room and it was very clean and nice with windows in it. The whole place was pretty awesome. They had a nice dining area and they don't have specific dining times. You just go there anytime, like you're at a restaurant. They also have a bar there, a little movie theater, and a nice chapel. It's a nice place.

I'm on a waiting list at Legacy Living of Jasper. They have no vacancies and they're building 24 new units. The apartment was new, very clean, very cheerful, and quite spacious. It has a garage, a front porch, and a back patio, and I'm allowed to have my dog. They've got two bedrooms and a bath and a half in the current ones, but the new ones will have two bedrooms, two baths. All the utilities are included in the rent plus internet and one meal a day of your choice. They keep up the grounds nice. It's new and they just got a good program. All of the amenities that assisted living have, they're available in independent living also. The staff during the tour was helpful. I walked through the restaurant at lunchtime and I looked at their plates and everybody had something different. You order off a menu, and they cook it right there while you wait, just like a restaurant. It's quite expensive, but all the utilities are paid, you get one complimentary meal a day, your internet is free and your telephone and transportation to any doctor or medical appointment within 15 miles is free.

Legacy Living Jasper is a beautiful assisted living place. I liked the size of the rooms and they have everything there that you could want. They've got games, a bar, a big dining room, and everything you would want is there. The staff was excellent, very helpful, and she explained everything. She went to give a tour of the whole place from the rooms to the dining room and everything. The facility itself is beautiful. I didn't taste the food but you order it like in a restaurant.

I went to Legacy Living of Jasper yesterday morning, and I liked it a lot. Happy residents. It seemed like they had a lot of freedom to move around. They're fine to live there as long as they just want assistance. So they seemed like they had a lot of freedom, I liked that. I was welcomed and shown everything that they had, they had a movie theater, and they had very nice rooms. We're only looking at a studio for my father because he does not need a large floor area. They have a chapel. It just seemed like a lot of smiling faces there. People seemed very happy and they were speaking to each other. The staff, her name was Kylie and she was excellent. We were not offered a meal, I looked at their menu, and they have a very good menu. It's a perfect facility. It was great.
