Woodlands Care Center was clean. My father-in-law got plenty of attention. There were lots of folks around popping in and checking on him now and again. He had three different therapists who were working with him on different rehab activities for swallowing, walking, and occupational therapy. The facility was busy. They had a lot of patients, but the staff seemed very adequate. On the downside, they have a lot of equipment that they keep in the hallways. The hallways were plenty wide enough to accommodate it, but a lot is going on in the hallways between the equipment and the people coming out of their rooms for observation like the area near the nursing stand. When they're eating a meal, the residents are somewhat supervised because they have a swallowing issue like my father-in-law did, so plenty is going on in the hallways. The staff was very friendly and very helpful though. He was on a soft foods diet and he ate all his meals there, which isn't always the case at home.
