My aunt and uncle have moved into Solarbron Assisted Living. I like the friendliness of the staff. The rooms are nice. I can't wait to see them start using the dining room. With COVID, it's been a little bit hard to take advantage of everything at Solarbron at the current moment just because of the COVID protocols, but it is a very safe place. It's on a beautiful property with the residents being able to access the property, including a pond to fish or watch wildlife, which is nice. They haven't been there long enough to feel comfortable participating just because they keep to themselves. It's been a little bit challenging due to COVID also to do things in person, but the facility does try to keep people engaged. They do bingo, Wordsearch, and different activities that they can do in their room. They change that up frequently. It isn't the same as being with a big group of people but they do their best to keep people connected during COVID restraints. They have enjoyed the food. The food's been good. They're happy. They had fried chicken the other day and it smelled good.

Solarbron was very good for my loved one until a new director took over at the beginning of the year. He has since been fired, but the impact of all the wonderful staff he had on 400 dementia unit was either fired or left because of him and the DON. I would never encourage anyone to leave family unless you are SURE you can visit often, especially at night. Its really bad at that time. very short staffed and many staff not qualified to be on that type of unit. Spouse did not get meds regularly even after Hospice took over his care. Rooms were not very clean, never had enough towels, gloves, kleenex, did'nt even get fresh water every day. when he became bedfast weekend staff did not even come down to check on him. There was a qma that even threw his meds away on night after she tried ONLY ONE time and at thattime he refused. I hate giving such a bad review because there are truly good people working there, but they are stretched to the limit. Night shift and weekends especially nights then are so risky. Think twice before you accept a room there unless you are prepared to show up and not afraid to voice your conderns. The presentation at first sight is impressive, but we had a less than AWFUL experience there!

I visited Solarbron Assisted Living. We liked the people, the staff, and the facilities, but we're just not there yet. We looked at the assisted living and the nursing home side, and we were impressed with both. The staff was very cordial, and they appeared to be very efficient. The facility is aged a little bit, but it's appealing. The living atmosphere was very good. The menu looked very good.

I went to Solarbron Assisted Living. The facility is nice. The location is probably not quite as convenient for myself, or my sister, who would be going to visit my mother most often. I thought it was nice, but I probably liked the other two facilities that I visited a little better than I like the Solarbron. Everybody that I met there was very friendly, very helpful, and very willing to talk with me and show me around. It was a little bit older of a facility. It felt a little more clinical than the other facilities I visited, so that was a negative.

I did a tour of Solarbron, and that was great. The facilities are very good. Everything was very nice. The only thing that is keeping me from that is the location. It's far from where I'm at. They have a library and a beauty salon. It's well-kept and clean. It has a lake out front that you could walk around.

I entrusted my father to this place mistakenly in early 2021. Some of the nurses were attentive. That is what gets the second star. My father was left in his own waste in his room before, and on his last day, they banged his head against the wall when trying to move him, without an apology. It is only lucky that hospice had him on Morphine at the time, but that is absolutely no excuse for trying to run a memory care unit like that. If you need memory care, search elsewhere!

I've been to Solarbron Assisted Living for rehab. They were very good, I got a lot of care, and I liked them a lot. The room was small, but nice, and they kept it clean. The people there were very nice. The therapy was good, they helped me quite a bit, got me feeling better, and I was taken very good care of there. The facilities were really nice.

I just moved into Solarbron. I chose them because of where it's at; the location is mainly it. It's very clean and very efficient. The grounds are very nice and everything so far is wonderful. I'm quarantined, and I can't go do anything. I never received assistance from them. They were very professional during the move in. It's a very nice facility. My room is larger than where I came from. So far, I'm satisfied.

My mom has moved into Solarbron Assisted Living. It is excellent. The living atmosphere is good. The staff members take care of her. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Her room is very large. It is a big two-bedroom with a living room and kitchen. The food is great. The dining area is very nice. My mom doesn't do the activities, but they do have them all week long. They go out to the movies, and they go out to eat.

I really liked Solarbron Assisted Living but it was far too expensive for me. It was excellent and it was my first choice. It was very high class and I loved it. The lady I spke with there was very nice, accommodating, informative, friendly, good, and answered all the questions I had. She made me feel at home. Everyone seemed happy, cheerful, and glad to be there. They have bungalows and apartments. The bungalow I went to was very nice, a good size, and very convenient to the main buildings. It was excellent and very well-maintained. It was beautiful and had a friendly atmosphere. It was family-oriented and they encourage family to come and visit and stay overnight.

Severely understaffed. My mother got sepsis in their care from a wound that was not cared for properly. The staff kept lying to us and saying that she was in good health and progressing in rehab. We finally got the truth when it was all too late and my mother was rushed to the hospital on our demand. If you want somewhere that has the time and ability to care for your loved one, Solarbron is not the place. I hope to make this so that no one else has to go through what we have. The pain of losing a mother is the worst feeling in this entire world. Especially when she still had life to live. There is no replacement. I would say that if someone needs long term care or long term rehab, this is not the place!

I would not recommend this place for a loved one. My mom is currently a resident and we have experienced one problem after another. The appearances of this facility are great, however they have major issues with staff. They never have enough staff scheduled to care adequately for their residents. Also, many of the nursing staff do not appear to be equipped to properly care for the residents. We have been given so many excuses by nursing staff that I expect it now. I am sure that if all you need is basic care, this place would be fine. However, they really cannot handle anything above and beyond that.

Solarbron is in a wooded area, away from the big crowded city. The staff is friendly and supportive, and the food is excellent. One of the activities was the candlelight dinner last night. So far, I have only seen their beauty salon and library. The place is clean and it's a newer building.

My cousin is in Solarbron. The rooms are very nice. It is out in the country, and it is very quiet. The staff is very knowledgeable and very helpful. There are several dining areas. The price was reasonable, and it was very convenient. They have a library. They have occupational therapists. I like that they have a staff that is very on the spot when you need something.

The staff at Solarbron was really good and very helpful. There is some nature around the residents can visit. It’s very close to a college campus, so they can go to the university and do things there. There are all kinds of programs. It really is excellent. Compared to other places I’ve been, the cost and the amenities are great. It’s outstanding.

I visited Solarbron and it's a beautiful place. It's just what I would like, but I am happy living by myself for awhile. The staff were very nice people. I had been there for lunch and the food is very good. I would recommend them to others because I think it's the best.

I had a very nice visit at Solarbron. The people were nice. The food, the rooms, and the accommodations were really good. They have bingo, shuffleboard, and card games, and they take them shopping and to movies. If I needed a place like that, I wouldn't hesitate to go there.

When I first showed up to this facility I was not sure what to expect because I hadn't been there, but the receptionists were very kind. They asked who I was there to see, then I proceeded to tell them, after a brief check of their records they took me there right away. During the visit with my uncle I noticed he had quite a bit of freedom there, He had a large room of his own that he could hang up his favorite belongings around the room. Whilst I was talking to him he mentioned that they food they serve there is good and that they feed him plenty. I used the restroom whilst I was there and I noticed that it was very clean, and had a decent smell. It looked much nicer than I was expecting. Overall it was a positive experience, everyone that I saw there seemed to be friendly and my uncle seemed to like the place and the job that they did there.

A close friend of mine was one of the on-site Occupational Therapists at The Terrace at Solarbron for a few years, so I spent a lot of time at Solarbron visiting with the residents. The Solarbron Campus is no less than a resort it is beautiful, peaceful, the apartments are luxurious, and the amenities are abundant. The staff works to ensure that assisted living does not feel assisted in a negative sense, but more like a friend or family member helping out. The food is gourmet, though complimentary transportation is always available to residents if they wish to dine out, shop, or run errands. The Solarbron campus sits next to a local college, and each resident is given a college ID for purposes of attending college events, library use, etc. The amenities go on. This is indeed a very impressive facility of the highest quality.
