The staff at Village at Hamilton Pointe was by and large very pleasant and provided very good care. My mother was there on two occasions for physical therapy. I like the quality of the staff. They had very good physical therapy. The food was pretty good there. They had nice facilities and it's well located. She was getting a lot of physical therapy about as much as she could handle. They had a couple of large areas that were accessible by residents or by patients. She was in a single room. It was very spacious and it had all that she needed for a short stay. Her stay there was covered by Medicaid and Medicare, so there was no out-of-pocket expense. She was there two different times. The first time she was there were four weeks and then she was readmitted two weeks later for another four weeks.

My husband was at Hamilton Pointe rehab unit for five and a half hours before I wheeled him out of there. His CNA was 61 and my husband is 63. Don’t sign the AMA because they won’t give me a list of his updated prescriptions or medical appointments. Awful.

My mom has been in The Village at Hamilton Pointe Assisted Living for two months now. She is in assisted living there. It's nice, neat, and clean. It's a fairly new facility. It's less than 10 years old. The staff out there is really good. They seem to be taking very good care of my mother, and I have zero complaints. They answered my questions. When we were trying to get Mom on Medicaid, they were very helpful in helping me work through all that paperwork that is required for that. They're just all very friendly. There are two people in the room, and they keep the room tidy. It's got nice furniture in it. The person who lives in a room has plenty of room for their clothing and whatnot. They each have their own TV. I haven't tried the food myself, but my mom likes her food, and she is picky. They had a Halloween party for them this past weekend. They usually hit all the holidays. They have a little something for them. They have bingo regularly. I see residents playing bingo in one of the dining halls. They do try to keep them somewhat busy. The whole facility is fairly new. Everything seems to be in good shape. Everything seems to work like it's supposed to. The housekeepers are always out during the daytime and visible. They come in, they clean the room, and they mop floors. It looks like they're trying hard to take good care of it.

My parents are at The Village at Hamilton Pointe. I wasn't involved in choosing, it was my brother, but it was basically the best place, the best price, and the best location. They're doing okay there. With Covid, it's kinda hard right now, but they have a full refrigerator, so they can keep food in there. They have a microwave, and they can make coffee. They're doing fine. They've got a sliding glass door where they can walk outside once Covid is over. The staff has been doing really well. They seem to be doing okay with the food. They have limited activities.

I am a nurse with a family member that lives at Hamilton Pointe. I have seen a lot of turn around while my mother has been there. But for the most part, the staff are caring and take very good care of her. Being a nurse I understand the demands on all the staff and I think they do a great job! They make my mother feel at home in her home.

I did a stint of rehab for 31 days at Hamilton Pointe in August. The staff, food, and cleanliness were very good. I was very pleased with everything. I received therapy and any assistance I needed with anything else. It was good.

I have visited Hamilton Pointe on 2 separate occasions. The first was about 2 years ago and they had many problems that needed fixed. Most recently I have been there this Spring and things have improved greatly. I was there for rehab after having surgery and I would definitely recommend Hamilton Pointe now.

Village at Hamilton Pointe have too many patients for the number of caregivers and I thought they needed to hire more people. My mother was there for rehab for four months. The food was great. The rooms were okay, but they were more hospital like than homey. They also had activities and it was much larger facility. I was impressed with the therapy staff. They were just wonderful. The team that worked with my mother was very loving and conscientious. We really enjoyed them.

When you walk in the doors of Village at Hamilton Pointe, the impressive part of it doesn’t hit you right away. The facility looks clean, but it is not just modern or up to date. This facility is really for a lot of Alzheimer's people. I look at their dining room, and it looked nice with napkins setup on their table, but their residents don’t look all that clean to me. Their hair hasn’t been combed and they just lean over chairs like they are over medicated; I just didn’t like it at all.

The place is very attractive inside and out. The staff seem to care about there job and the residents. The food started out very good. Now, not so. The nurses that take care of my Dad are wonderful. The housekeeping is pretty good. Needs improvement. Has been a lot of theft going on in the Facility. They did not put the mattress protecter back on my dads bed, now it is ruined from wetting the bed because of his incontinence. He tends to be a bit frugal with his depends. His room smells of urine at times because of this. It seems they are having a staff turnaround quit a bit. The new assistant director, not to hip on her.
