My mother-in-law has moved into Rosewalk Assisted Living. We like that she is pretty much taken care of there. They give her medicine, and they make sure she's getting in and out of her room and meeting people. Everybody there is so friendly, and all the residents are friendly, too. My mother-in-law dresses herself, and she goes to the restroom by herself, but she has a little trouble remembering things and she falls quite a bit. She has only been there for a week, and we like it so well. The staff is wonderful. They provide three meals a day and snacks. We've eaten there twice, and both times that we have eaten there, we think the food was great. When we checked on it, cleanliness was one of the first things that we checked, and each floor does not smell. That was one of the main things that, if it smelled, we wouldn't put my mother-in-law there. They have activities pretty much every day. They have outings. They go to Kroger's, Walmart, the casino, the museum, and the zoo. There's always something there for the residents to do. We talked to our family doctor, and he had his dad and his grandma all in there, and that was another reason we liked it so well. If our family doctor puts his loved one in there, it's got to be decent.

My dad lives here and had to leave for a short time for phyisical rehab at a different location. And one of the employees, Shelly, went above and beyond expectations to be sure he had personal items and clothes taken to the rehab center. My sister and I were extremely appreciative of this!

I went to look at Rosewalk Assisted Living. I'm in a wheelchair and had no transportation to see the facility. They brought the bus here and took me to see it. The staff that came and got me was a very, very nice person. We went into the building, and it's very nice, neat, and clean. It reminds you of a hotel. I saw a large studio, and I loved it. The staff showed me everything and took me around to a social area. They have an ice cream shop, and you can get drinks and things like that during the day. We went outside to the courtyard, and it was very nice. They showed me the laundry. We ate lunch there, and the food was very good. Everybody was very polite and nice. The people that worked in the dining room were very good at their job. If you have any problems or anything, they are right there to help you. They have their own chef.

The rooms and the staff at Rosewalk were very nice. They had jewelry making, church-type activities, and bus trips. I liked the woman that was in charge of it and generally liked the whole layout.

I visited Rosewalk. It was an assisted living facility, and they do have a nursing home attached to it as well. I liked everything. They kept things nice and clean. The people were friendly. The rooms were nice and spacious. The grounds looked good. They offered a lot of activities. Bingo was one of the big ones. They had field trips to movies and restaurants outside the area. I liked that it was close and convenient to a hospital. It was in nice and quiet neighborhood. It was well staffed except for the nursing home; they need more help there.

I chose Rosewalk Assisted Living for my sister because I like what they have to offer for me, and also it is close to my place. The staff has been very good, and we have no complaints. If I have a question, they have been right there with an answer for me. They do have activities seven days a week. Anything she wants to do, she can. They do have a nice cafeteria, and the food is pretty good.

Rosewalk is very lovely. I had a very positive experience. Everybody had a positive experience there with friendliness. It was a beautiful place, it’s large, and the various parts are in different buildings; it was too big for us. She has lived alone for a lot of years, and we just didn’t think that this would appeal to her. They have a pool. There are beautiful grounds for strolling, walking around if you are able to. They have game rooms, entertainment, and a library, and these are all things that Bickford had too. I think there was an exercise room.

This is a GREAT place! My loved one lived here and she very much considered this her home. The staff and atmosphire of the building, just make you feel so welcome as soon as you walk in the door. They are so caring and compassionate, especially their nursing staff. This is a wonderful place for anyone looking for Assisted Living! A+ and highly reccomended!

This was the second assisted living facility in the Indianapolis area that I visited in one weekend. The difference was like night and day. This was a charming, warm homey place to live. It was so comfortable feeling that I hesitate to call it a "facility." The staff all were interacting with the people who live there, even when there was no particular reason or need to do so. I have never encountered this before. There are more choices in types of individual apartments than in most facilities. When you move in you can choose the decor and colors of your apartment. This is also unique in my experience. One of the ladies with whom I spoke at some length said that a friend of hers got tired of the color of her studio apartment and had it repainted a different color after 3 years. When I spoke with one of the staff, they seemed to be very proud of the facility and said that she felt personally responsible to make certain that the "guests" not only were cared for, but had the best possible quality of life. Another guest said that he had made several suggestions about new activities and "outings" and they were not only taken seriously, but some had already been started. The dining is more like a very high quality casual restaurant than the "cafeteria" dining that many facilities offer. They also have regular shopping and other trips, so their residents can maintain a life style very much like that which they had before. This is a very nice idea. This is the second facility that is now on my "A" list.
